Regaleatsmelb: I have eyed off the reuben sandwich special from Henry and the Fox for a while and I'm not sure if I'm disappointed because it's only in hindsight do I feel like this rueben was definitely not worth the price I paid.Not sure why they have only decided to make the reuben a "special" on a Friday lunch for $25 with a glass of wine, because dining in two hours later, I paid $24 just for the sandwich by itself - And to me that's not ok. This is not a $24 sandwich.. not by a long shot.It had all the elements of a reuben - pastrami, Russian dressing, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese albeit on toasted sourdough and not rye, but it was hardly anything special. With only three pieces of pastrami - I've had more loaded versions for two thirds of the price.I get it's a restaurant, I get it's a vibe and I get that inflation has hit hard BUT for my sandwich to be the same price as my dad's steak sanga isn't ok.Served with a smile, I have no qualms about Henry or the Fox but I can see why there are no photos of the food anywhere... Because unfortunately, at least in my experience, there wasn't much to shoot.
Madison Bernoldo: We went to Henry and the Fox 4 times in 2 days because we loved it so much. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the owner Nick was amazing. He remembered that I drink Pepsi Max and came around to us so often to check in. I’ll definitely come back here when I come back to Melbourne, and I’ll recommend it to everybody. The best vibes from both the venue and the staff. Also the food is amazing, the servings are so well sized and I left feeling really satisfied. I really miss it already.

Sharlott Shi: was so diligent in dealing with the situation and just gave the most amazing service and was super kind to all of us. The owner Ares as well called me back immediately the next day, and was also so empathetic and compassionate, and was just all around lovely to speak to. He immediately checked on all the microphones in each room for safety, and I was just super impressed by how he dealt with everything. We are most excited to come back to enjoy another karaoke session in the future - highly recommend!! 💕

Dave Collins (Dave_the_Foodie): It's a fantastic standard of board game cafe with a huge selection of games for all skill levels. There's cooperative, competitive, and even solo games that can be played.It's possibly a bit pricier than other cafes on paper, but you get a free drink from the menu, and they have a really nice selection of stuff, so it balances out.The food is also different from what is found in board game cafes, which adds extra enjoyment to visiting Marche. I usually go for the popcorn chicken and the pork belly rice, both of which are very well done and super flavourful with excellent value for money.The staff ate great, super helpful and will explain how to play any games you are interested in, particular shout out to Luke who always recognised us and would reserve our favourite spot in the place to play games on a Wednesday night!If you're new to games or experienced, it's a great spot on the board game and food front.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and they can recommend games based on your preferences and teach you the rules if you are new to them.Marche also has karaoke rooms where you can sing your heart out to your favorite tunes. The sound system is great, the song selection is diverse, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. You can also order drinks and snacks from the cafe to enjoy while you play and sing.Marche is a place where you can have a blast with your friends and discover new games and songs. It is definitely one of the best boardgames cafes in town, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time. 🎲🎤👏

Patrik: Mother's Day lunch for 7 without a booking, staff kindly accommodated us by rearranging tables to create one long table. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service, especially considering Melbourne isn't known for great hospitality. However, this experience was almost on par with American or European hospitality, just less intrusive. The staff were very kind and even helped with non-restaurant related requests. Overall, the food was excellent with perfectly cooked steaks, delicious chips, and vegetables. We also enjoyed the bonus of having tank beer and a wide selection of beers on tap. We'll be returning - thank you.

Keven Luan: Solid pub food at typical pub prices.Got the chicken schnitzel and it was quite scrumptious with a salad to nicely balance it out. The mushroom sauce was great. They sometimes have live music and I thought it was piercingly loud when I had to switch seats to move away from it hurting my ears.Expect to spend ~$30-35 for a meal here. They have weekend surcharge.

Carl Bronkhorst: 5 start for a pub steak and pub service.Meals came out in a reasonable fashion, all presented well and cooked to perfection 👌.There weren't any negative comments for the 7 people at our table.They definitely need to consider getting Dianne sauce on the menu 😁The only thing I can pick on is the music was a bit loud where we were sitting to have our dinner. Possible look at acoustic treatment in the dining areas.

Simone Le fevre: Obviously a popular place by the amount of patrons present. Only a short wait for a table in the bistro but not long before we were enjoying some fantastic food! I thoroughly enjoyed the sirloin steak, cooked exactly how I asked, medium rare. Such a lot of flavour, with or without the creamy peppercorn sauce on the side. Served with green vegies that were also beautifully flavoursome. To finish off, everyone's favourite, sticky date pudding and that was just as delightful as the friendly service we received. We will definitely call in again when visiting Melbourne.

As a connoisseur of fine pork belly, this was a real treat. It was tasty with subtle hints of Asian flavours.The other dish we enjoyed was the pumpkin salad with beef brisket. The salad was fresh and crisp. The brisket was divine.Cargo is located right on the water in docklands with views of some of the city there. The restaurant is set nicely, staff knowledgeable and welcoming, and I highly recommend it.
