Prahran Aquatic Centre: what do users think?

Glenn Zee: The go to semi-heated outdoor 50m pool in this area. I particularly love the added touches of private free lockers and a swimming togs dryer in the change rooms. It is busy in summer on a hot day naturally, but it is not so busy in winter despite being heated, and i always seem to get a lane for lap swimming, often alone or with only one or at most two others to share the lane.

Ilho Kim: I really like the open outdoor swimming pool and the lines according to swimming level.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait …

Fitzroy Swimming Pool: what do users think?

Caroline Wareham: One of my favourite places in the world!

Abie Reyes: While I was living in this neighborhood, I made sure to check out the Fitzroy Pools on a warm spring morning. It was a weekday and it was still packed! It's a 50m pool with lots of space to lounge on, including the bleachers. There are other pools in the area that I prefer to go to which has better upkeep and less crowded, but this one is definitely a must try.

Anna: Pretty good, have definitely seen better but it’s just a 50m outdoor pool. If that’s what you’re looking for it’s definitely worth the trip.Pool is not super heated so if you stay in one spot you’ll go cold.Plenty of clean changing facilities, I really enjoyed the outdoor hot shower to rinse off after the swim.Pool is on the old side, but relatively clean. Bits of debri and strange shapes on the bottom of the pool so not 100% clean.Went around 2pm on a Monday and it wasn’t that busy, managed to get a lane to myself.Parking is very annoying; you need to find a free spot on one of the one way streets around the place.

Mateusz J. Nowak: lovely staff; beautiful sunrise and sunset views; highly amenable opening hours

Sue Spafford: Amazing place. Everyone so friendly. Joined adult stroke lessons. Such a fun group. Shout out to the instructor Georgia who was brilliant. Teaching was excellent. Everything she said made so much sense and she was very patient too. Thank you.

Sarah Taylor: One of the best pools in Melbourne. Always clean. Two kids' pools with shading. A great vibe on hot summer days. Not too busy the rest of the time. Friendly staff. The only problem is the sauna usually sits at around 60 degrees.Edited to add: the sauna these days is decently hot. Not the hottest but hot enough.

Kit Fennessy: Groovy cool pool with all walks of life and DJs on weekends in summer. “Aqua profunda” indeed.

Ben Anderson: Nice pool, my dad died here though so only four stars.

Massimiliano Borsato: One of the best outdoor heated 50m pools around! A real sense of community spirit, clean & friendly staff. Love it!

Mark Moynihan: Love popping down to the pool for some laps during the day... Practice practice practice

Stella Wormann: The showers are clean and good. Hairdryer, Charging spots...top

Thierry Choteau: Super 50 m outdoor pool with deckchair. Children's pool in the shade. Small lawn. Very pleasant in good weather

Michael Hodder: Another great community asset for all ages. Love my swims there.

chantal: Historical building that houses a quaint 25m pool, spa, sauna, and gym. Wonderful facility in the heart of the city. I received an exceptional customer service experience from Rizo. He explained the membership options clearly and let me have a look around before committing. I appreciated his professional and friendly manner. Upon his advice, I signed up immediately. Thank you, Rizo!

Anna Chien: Passing by, I thought the building was very recognizable.

Yifan Li: MCB is great place to learn swimming and training. all the staff super friendly and attentive. Sarah been greatly help all the time through email to organise session for my daughter. Mark and Rosie are amazing and patiently with all the kids.

Kero Hetet: Mad Max to the Fullest extent of the woods. So I will be back in the Thick of it.

Simon Alexander Smits: What a beautiful and historic inner city leisure centre. Beautiful architecture, unique and light filled Lap swimming pool. Pool a little warm… but not too warm and it was summer and warm-whilst I last visited.. FANTASTIC locker and change room facilities with iron and hairdryers. Step back into the city looking and feeling great. Toni and ALL her staff that morning were very professional and accommodating and helped make it perfect end to my city stay… too marks to all the staff

Brett Chalker: liyws

Richard Trenta: Nice pool! For 8 AUD you get in and can swim as much as you want. There are lanes for slow swimmer, medium and fast. The changing room are clean. All equipment works fine. It would be nice if they could provide towels and swim caps in case guests forget. They are also replying mail if you ask for information. Easy to reach with public transportation. Will go back when in Melbourne.

Hareesh Karra: Excellent and clean facilities that include a 50m lap pool, dry sauna, steam room, full gym and a dedicate circuit training room. There are two kids wading/ shallow play pools also. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Daniel Sowter: A great place to exercise

Ty Allen: Maybe management could put up some signage explaining sauna courtesy. The change room showers are also not ideal, being too cramped, sometimes dirty and often no hot water. I avoid them and save my thorough shower for home.Despite these complaints, it's a great place and I always leave feeling better.

Samuel Popik: Never been to Australia but i can tell this place is Goated 🔥🔥🔥

Mark Williamson: Standard government issue aquatic centre. 50m swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym

Rory Sos: I’ve been coming here casually for a few weeks and decided I’d sign up for a membership to the pool. The sign up process was completely clear and reasonable and easy to do. I really enjoy the pool and the sauna, and the change rooms are always nice and clean. I really enjoy coming here for my morning swims.

William: , and the staff are fantastic. An easy five stars.

Hrishikesh Shinde: Awesome facilities and helpful staff.

Ballora Afton: Really good spa, sauna & steam room areas. The main pool, which is 50 metres longis really cold to the point I couldn't even get in the pool at all due to how cold it was. This has happened multiple times I've been here.Other than that, it's really good here & I do recommend trying out the spa, sauna & steam room. This place is also wheelchair accessible as well.

??: Good facilities, wish the pool was a couple of degrees warmer though. Prices keep increasing.

Annelie Shade Mullins: Nice beach place. Looking at swimmers.

Quang Vinh Vo: Beautiful, leisurely life

Charly Bz: If you want to enjoy the best music events on the weekends, and if you want to enjoy its exquisite cuisine and Italian pizzas, do not hesitate to come, the service will make you feel at home and its dynamic atmosphere makes you feel like watching the sunset. on your front or the second floor.

Chris Coakes: Great location and saltwater swimming

Pedro Caceres: Nice gym but the classes are always full. It’s very hard to get into a yoga class, pilates, etc

Michael Glennon: If you like volleyball, during the summer there is a thing called Republica Volleyball. You turn up, pay $30 and the organiser puts you into a team of 4. It’s a great way to meet new people. At the end of the night your money goes towards a slice of pizza and a drink. Good times.

Peter Michael Wiles: Some of the beach chairs are falling apart and need replacing. Food good, service excellent.

Yuan Xie: Always signature view for Melbourne!

Jing Hou: very good facility and friendly staff. if you could stop some people spraying very strong and strange smell perfumes in the steam room, would be much much better. suggest putting up a notice in the steam room to stop that action.

Juliet Taylor: This is one of many hidden gems of the west. I have been a member for many years and it's like a second home for me. The young staff led by Kye are outstanding. Very reasonably priced and great facilities. Would highly recommend. Only hope the council don't do anything silly and totally redo the place. It's great the way it is.

Erin Church: The swim school staff are wonderful - supportive, adaptable, and approachable. Our children have improved exponentially since beginning lessons here.

Jarrod Evans: Great community aquatic centre with multiple pools in a really nice sports precinct. Ample parking and affordable to get into for a casual swim which is what I did. Clean, well managed and I will be a return swimmer.

William Blakeley: Great lessons, decent facilities but lacking in fun play equipment for kids.

Rachel Weber: Kids have become great swimmers from their lessons here. Being able to use the pool before and after lessons is a massive advantage

Michael Harris: Burpie show

Hok Lim: This is such a great place. Friendly staff and excellent facilities. The only feedback would be to put more people on the phones as it takes a while to get through. Well done Aquanation

Helen Forbes: This facility is world class. It has everything you need, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. There are loads of varied classes. The gym itself is incredible and I’m so thankful I have this.If you’re wondering whether to join a gym. Do yourself a massive favour and join this gym. You won’t regret it.

Brenton Scheurer: is open from 12pm weekends and is an additional cost of $4 for unlimited. Remember they have to pay 2 lifeguards to operate it. Child has to be 5yo+The driving board's up to 3m high is open from 2pm weekends and is FREE is use. Child has to be 5yo+There are smaller splash play and waterslides for kids for FREEMy child always enjoys his time there.

J M.: which made getting organised to go home a bit hard when there were so many families wanting to use the rooms. But overall it’s a fantastic pool. The lap pool is a cold pool but has 2 open fun/play areas for everyone to enjoy too! Which was great! Very nice cafe area for food.I highly recommend this swimming pool! 😄

WaterMarc: what do users think?

Jack Denney: Great indoor pool facility! Loads of options, so you can enjoy the place for a multitude of reasons. There are: slides, fountains, sprinklers, a giant bucket that fills & pours on the crowd, warm & cool pools, a laps pool with designated speeds, baby pools, many private family change rooms,a café, health center, and meeting rooms. Literally, the place is for all age groups. The Banyule City Council has done a great job with this place, and it is still being added to!

Remi Nicolazzo: There is two great water slides.

タエラちゃん: Returned home last year. This is conveniently located near the station. Even on a sudden visit, they allowed me to tour the facility. The Aussie staff said, ``Please ask me anything you don't understand.'' I was treated kindly and felt calm and comfortable. I would have liked to use it if I had time...I'm looking forward to using it the next time I go.

Jess Van Santen: Great facility catering for all the family. With the 50m pool split in 2 it makes finding an empty lap lane easy and the kids were entertained with the water slides and play areas.

Katherine Rose: Great fun. The water slide needs some more rafts to speed up the line. Otherwise, it was great.

Sandra Attygalle: Best Leisure and Aquatic centre

Rahul Kapadia: Excellent space

Rudolph Fernandes: Good local council centre with all facilities, possibly better parking options as can get busy on school days

Amir Holakoo: Everything is good except family showers not in good condition

Isaac Poon: Fun on a hot day. The outdoor pool is better on crowded days as the inside is often packed

Kevin Dunmall: Excellent facilities, friendly staff and well run. Again the food is expensive for a family venue, but they don't stop you bringing your own stuff. so be prepared.
