Ceviche was great, meat skewers very good, octopus well done.We sat in a little room to the left of the bar which was great - less noisy than the main restaurant. Place has a great vibe no matter where you sit. It’s easy to see why this is such a popular place.Very impressive wine list and extensive menu. I like how unpretentious the place is. Very casual and relaxed. Definitely a keeper.

The acoustics are particularly impressive; despite the bustling background, the space maintains an intimate feel, allowing for comfortable table conversations without the intrusion of surrounding noise.The service at Pastuso is exceptionally sharp, complementing the sensational flavors that emerge from the kitchen. They are incredibly accommodating to various dietary needs, ensuring everyone in our group was well taken care of. The staff’s friendliness enhances the dining experience even further.I wholeheartedly recommend Pastuso and eagerly look forward to my next visit. It’s a gem that’s perhaps underrated, especially in how it manages to balance a lively atmosphere with personal comfort.
Tiana Stacey: This place has a high star rating for a reason! We chose to do the feed-me menu as we didn't really know what to expect and we were not let down. Every dish was very different but were all full of complimenting flavours, and everything was obviously crafted with love and an abundance of skill.The service from the wait staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming and really rounded off the whole experience, will definitely be coming back at some point in the future!

My friend has complex dietaries and the team went over and beyond to cater to her individual allergies - the chef prepared an alternative dish and the needs of the whole party of 8 were met with a smile. Excellent value, the food was incredible and we had a view of the stunning courtyard, which was a beautiful atmosphere for a Sunday lunch. Sara Sahely: My photos don't really do the food justice. We feasted on the Chef's Selection at $75 per head. Great choice if you're exhausted from thinking too much and just want to be looked after. We were able to taste a wide variety of dishes - each one was magnificent - flavourful, lovely to look at and seasoned to perfection. From memory wr had: Zaatar Bread, Tuna Carpaccio, Roasted Zucchini, Roasted Carrots, Roasted Cauliflower, Roast Chicken, salad and dessert. We were a group of 5 but there was enough food to feed a 6th. No one walked away hungry.Half Acre has a lovely vibe and when you first walk in, you're welcomed with a heartwarming smell of a wood fire.The heaters were on over the bar area, making it very enticing to have a pre-dinner cocktail under the warmth. It was perfect given last night's evening chill and drizzle.This restaurant is fast becoming my favourite in the area.The wine list is great with plenty of choices and not too premium priced.Go steady on the sparkling water - you get charged for every carafe.I noticed some newer staff that need time to get to the standard of other, more experienced staff, especially in their knowledge of the menu.Vegetarian options: So many delish veg meals.

Small thing, it felt so cold temperature wise inside. It was freezing out and we could feel a breeze coming in from somewhere to the point where we had to pop our coats back on which is not comfy when you are eating. We will be back if ever back in town and have already recommended to many friends. Thank you for proving that vegetables can be delicious. We need more restaurants like you in Sydney as hubby and I enjoy mainly a vegetarian and often plant based diet.
