Greg Siinmaa: Overall my experience was good.The team at sparque are very friendly and helpful.I had my bike serviced by them but a couple of things from the servicing disappointed me.When they replaced the rear tyre they fitted a smaller tyre than the manufacturer recommended which effected the bikes performance.They replaced the rear brake disc but did not fit new brake pads. The old pads were well worn.The suspension had a squeak which was pointed out to the mechanic but the sqeak returned as soon as I rode it.The reason I never took the bike back was the fact I live 2 hours away from the work shop.These few issues aside there overall servicing was better than what i would get locally.Another thing was a invoice i got indicating that I was several payments in arears. When I checked the figure they gave did not even equate to to an amount equal to the suggested payments that were missing. In the end the amount they asked for was over $600 excessive. I got returned in the end, thank you..At the end of the lease Sparque looked after me and gave me a reasonable discount on the bike buyout.Overall a good experience with sparque but just pays to keep an eye on the detail.Regards Greg

Ed Benyon: I am participating in an e-bike salary sacrifice leasing program though my employer utilising Sparque as the provider. Sparque has an extensive website with many of the program details and an extensive overview of available e-bicycles. The best feature is the excellent customer service provided by Sparque. The team are responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. With their guidance, I worked through many e-bike options and decided to proceed into a lease on a Riese & Müller Charger 4 GT Vario. The details were all facilitated by Sparque: the paperwork, the bicycle preparation and delivery to my local shop, the handover with my local shop and maintenance provider, and answering my follow-up questions. One month into my lease, I am loving the e-bike and am deeply appreciative of the ongoing support from Sparque to ensure that the lease is successful for all involved. For me, the Riese & Müller e-bike is perfect. I commute across a series of fire trails, shared use trails, and paved roads daily, with over 250m of steep ascent involved. The e-bike makes the commute possible for me while I still reap all of the exercise benefits of cycling. As a platform, the R&M is a heavy and secure platform, and the Bosch motor removes the weight as an issue. The carbon belt drive paired to the vario transmission is fantastic. The performance is outstanding, with instant, seamless response. There is no gear slippage or delay, or problems with up-/down-shifting on the run or at a stop. The user interface with the LED controller and the Kiox300 is easy with lots of useful information provided. The battery capacity is large and enables me to ride several days between re-charges. The bike looks fantastic – solid, clean, nothing extraneous, and I have received positive comments – and is free from the rattling and clanking one gets used to from a chain and sprocket drive system. I can’t mention a fault yet! This is one of those “I should have done this sooner” type of experiences.

Got a thule chariot and found the socket to attach chariot to the rear axle was not quite compatible and caused rear wheel to come loose! MP kindly amended it for me and fitted to allow kickstand to remain in with. I may still have to adjust socket when I want to fit chariot but that is out of MP’s hands and more to do with the particular chariot I have chosen. Overall happy with service MP provide, try knowledgeable staff who want to help customers get the best out of their bikes. Bike is riding really well after the service, would recommend Melbourne Powered for sales and aftercare ⭐️

Ivan Mulberry: Bought a cyc photon a year ago. Excellent product! The battery I bought has also been sturdy.Taken a star off because the customer service wasn't great. The battery I was recommended turned out to have a different connector than the CYC. I made a few calls, got different answers about how to fix it and told to go and sort it out myself. No attempt to rememdy the situation with what I would assume would have been fairly simple and easy thing to do for a professional bike shop that specialises in e-bikes.So I ended up having to hunt down a new connector type and rewiring it myself.
