Firstly, Suzy and Mark you really made us feel very welcomed, you were both happy and full of energy, talking to everyone and getting to know us. Secondly, even though I live in Melbourne, it was nice to see Melbourne from a different perspective - I've never been to the Brighton Beach Boxes until the workshop and I really enjoyed photographing all the boxes along the beach.

Obviously, for me it was a lot of money to spend in one day, but it was definitely worth spending that money, because I got so much out of the day. Even though I study photography, I received some technical advice and critical feedback from someone different to my lecturers, and it's nice to get that "outside perspective" as one can get used to the ways in which a university works, and just get the same feedback from the same lecturers.
