The Larwill Studio Melbourne - Art Series: what do users think?

Bert Langdon: We stayed at the hotel for three nights during a recent visit to Melbourne and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are nice, the location is excellent, and the staff was friendly and responsive. I left a phone charger and AC adapter in the room when we checked out. Called a couple of hours later and asked if they could set them aside so that I could retrieve them a few days later. They were very cooperative and I recovered the items later that week. Will definitely stay there again.

Christina Ragunaat: Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value

Missy A Eby: served us a delicious brekky & fabulous coffee & remembered our orders the next time we came in.The room itself was comfortable, clean & spacious.Hallways were quiet and calming. The whole experience felt luxurious & posh✨. We will def be back!!!!! 5 Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Rooms: Very spacious, comfortable & modern.Walkability: The Royal Park is right outside your doorstep when you want to stretch your legsFood & drinks: The coffee & breakfast at The Farmacy was incredible.

ashitosh veloor: I am from North America and was on vacation going around different cities in Australia.Larwill studio in Melbourne was the best. Amazing location, 1 min walk to tram station and 8-10 mins to CBD in tram. 24/7 reception availability, best service. Will highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Melbourne.

We especially enjoyed our chats with Haries at Happy Hour. The location of the hotel was excellent for access to all we wanted to see. Michael Harrison: Stayed at the Mantra on Russell for 6 nights in March. The staff were attentive, friendly and had a sense of humour, which is refreshing! The location is spot on, being close to some really good restaurants. I stayed on the 16th floor, it was quiet and the room was very clean. The breakfast in the morning is a simple affair, but kept me going for most of the day, it was also pretty quiet during the week, which was a nice start to busy days.I would stay here again, in a heartbeat! Thanks Team!

Dot Forrest: We booked a room and it was amazing. Our TV was not working and kept dropping out so they moved us to another room on the 6th floor. The room was so big and we even had an outdoor area to go outside. The service was 💯 percent amazing and they service from the staff was to die for. It's a shame all hotels in Melbourne don't give the same service.Thank you from Gregory and Dorothy

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street: what do users think?

Bruce R.: A special hotel which made us feel special. All staff cheerfully obliged our needs, above and beyond our expectations, based on our experiences in Australia and overseas.A special experience from the moment we entered the front lobby.Thank you, all Hilton staff, for making our 56th. anniversay so memorable.Rooms: Clean, well equipped, very comfortable bed.Nearby activities: There is a tram-stop outside the front entrance.

Benjamin Lynn: Would like to see a freezer in my fridge, but at least room service delivers ice readily.Staff are amazing, rooms leave a little to be desired, they are smaller than expected, window view is of an old cement wall - almost be better without a windows. No washing machines available for use. But they do have a laundry service.

Ross D: Like any inner city Hotel parking can often be challenging however from the moment we drove up the valet’s experience in dealing with stressed customers came to the fore. A giant smile a welcoming greeting and the offer to take care of our vehicle saw our tensions disappear immediately. He quickly guided us towards reception whilst he attended to our luggage. Reception staff welcomed us with broad smiles and welcome greetings. These staff are extremely well trained however I felt a greater sense that they really were enjoying their jobs and their demeanour a mere reflection of that joy. By the time we arrived at our room our bags had been carefully placed in the bedroom. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We made our way back downstairs for a quick bite and the meal was superb. I can easily say that everything about this Hotel exceeded our high expectations. Its charm, decor, location but most of all its people are exemplary and a credit to the Hilton group. We will be staying again.Rooms: We chose a King Suite and it was magnificent. Modern decor, generous sizing with full amenitiesNearby activities: A wide range of bars and restaurants close by

Mike H (Hadsafeed): Very nice rooms, good service although disappointing there isn't better facilities like pool/spa/sauna.

Cyrus Jay Bantoy: Superb. This place is amazing. Staying at the Hilton was an absolute delight! From the impeccable service to the luxurious amenities, every moment felt like a VIP experience. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The hotel's attention to detail truly stood out, making me feel pampered and cared for throughout my stay. I can't wait to return and indulge in exceptional hospitality once again. Five stars, without a doubt!Walkability: Near the shops and restaurants. Tram station in front of the hotel 🏨

Daniel McPherson: Excellent decor, furnishings & architecture! The hotel is out of the really busy area which helps reduce noise, although the trams can be heard shaking the ground until 11pm in some rooms.Service was great and lot of the time but there were a few moments where going above and beyond wasn’t a priority which is fine of course, but not deserving of 5 stars. The beds are to die for, the TV is modern and easy to use with modern streaming apps & the bathroom was amazing. The one thing that shocked me was the barista coffee at the included buffet breakfast being an additional charge. Strange.Walkability: The hotel is within walking distance of key shopping areas like Collin’s Street & the restaurant / bar areas.

Jayendu Krishna: Hotel highlights Quiet

Roy Lee: Jane has been extremely helpful in all aspects, both during and after my stay.During my stay, the microwave broke down. Jane came to take a look, confirmed the issue and offered to help me heat up my meal. The issue was also fixed after she arranged a technician to come by the next day. After my stay, I had an issue with a charge on my card which was incorrect. I called twice, emailed twice and the issue was not resolved as promised. The third time I called, Jane was the one who picked up, solved my issue, processed a refund for me and also sent me an email with the confirmation all within the same call.Jane provided amazing service quality in an otherwise not so pleasant experience. Jane is a valuable member of the team that goes above and beyond for her role, an awesome example to follow!

Jessica McInerney: I recently stayed at the Next Hotel Melbourne, Curio Collection by Hilton, and was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredible—so welcoming and always on hand to help with anything. The hotel itself is gorgeous, modern, dark, moody and super clean. The rooms very well appointed and beautifully fitted out. They even come with cool perks like a Dyson hair dryer, high-quality glassware, big comfy bed and a pillow menu. I even got to pick my room key color, which was a fun little bonus.Breakfast every morning was a treat with loads of yummy options. I absolutely loved the goodbye posy card they left by my door on checkout day. It had a QR code to quickly settle my bill and let me leave my key in the room—so convenient.I'm already looking forward to my next stay at the Next Hotel Melbourne. If you’re seeking a hotel that offers both modern luxury and a personal touch, this is the place to be.

Minji Hur: Love this place! Wonderful staff and facilities.I've been there twice now and will definitely go back again.Rooms: Very comfortable overall.Walkability: Easy walking distance to trams and everywhere in CBD

Vanessa K: I booked a 3 nights stay at this hotel for a solo me time trip, the main selling point for me was the sound proofing.Next Hotel Melbourne is a newish hotel in the Melbourne CBD. The hotel is a great location for convenient access to the trams, with a few minutes walk through Southern Cross Lane to access the 86 and 96 route trams. During the weekday Southern Cross Lane has a nice range of food and cafe options. The hotel is almost right next door to the Stamford Hotel. The hotel has beautiful appointed rooms, with very comfortable beds, there's the option to choose your own type of pillow and the rooms have ambient lighting. There are tea bags and coffee capsules available for use. The hotel also provides robes, however if you require slippers, you need to call reception. The bathrooms are quite roomy with the option of the hand held shower or the rain shower, both had good water pressure. The bathroom also has full size bottles of nice toiletries to use. The most impressive thing about the bathroom would be the Dyson hairdryer, this was a very nice addition to the room. The view from my room was nothing spectacular, I had to close one blind on the window for the entirety of my trip because the window is facing an office.I requested a quiet room when I checked into the hotel, so the reception staff member assigned me a corner room. I was disappointed to discover on the weekend that the room in fact had no sound proofing because I could hear loud music from the nightclub and the noise continued for a long time. I was later advised by another reception staff member that the corner rooms are the rooms that cop most of noise and I should ask for a quiet room that's in the middle, however another staff member stated that those rooms would also be noisy from the foot traffic. I do think most hotels I've stayed at in Melbourne have the same issue with noise.Overall I would stay here again, because the positive aspects outweigh the negatives, however I would not stay in a corner room.Shoutout to the concierge Andrew who was so helpful, friendly and courteous throughout my stay.

Kerry Pronk: Great hotel in convenient location. Great amenities. They offer the option of not getting your room serviced in exchange for $20 credit which is a fantastic ideaRooms: Comfortable rooms, generous size, big well appointed bathrooms

Sarfaraj Shahjahan: Very nice.Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Great value …

Marty Thomas: It is always a delight when expectations are exceeded in a hotel stay. We recently discovered, or should I say, uncovered a real gem in the heart of Melbourne.I'm a stylist, and my personal style is far from minimal. I'm all about vintage, history, legacy and an abundance of detail, and rich layers of colour in terms of the 'vibe'.Accordingly, I look for boutique properties that offer quiet luxury with great style. Next Hotel Melbourne is one such hotel. Interiors are elegant and spacious. Splashes of jewel colours are a touch of brilliance and are tastefully and thoughtfully detailed. There is a real sense of understated quality throughout the hotel. We didn't dine in during our very brief stay. However, we did stop by the gorgeous lounge bar 'La Madonna' where cocktails are skilfully prepared by the congenial staff. I chose a glass of Ayala champagne. It is an excellent bar with a pleasant city outlook.A curated goumet breakfast can be enjoyed in the comfort of the executive lounge. My breakfast included all the good things and a full range of hot drinks are offered. Use of the lounge is included with a stay in an executive room, and then it's possible to indulge in refreshments during the day or hold a casual meeting there. The daily happy hour sounded fun!The curated mini bars are far from ordinary... just how I like things. I've never seen Louis Roederer Champagne in a hotel mini bar along with other great options, including prebatched artisan Negronis. The beds are supremely comfortable, and I loved the bathroom, which was spacious, well designed, and featured Hunter Lab products in abundance! Lovely staff, and excellent service, from the concierge at ground level, to the 2nd floor reception foyer crew made for a truly memorable stay, and of course you are right in the heart of Melbourne's fashion and design district on Little Collins st.I'm looking forward to our 'NEXT' stay!Walkability: Location, location, location! The heart of Old Melbourne. Great for boutique shopping, dining and walking!Food & drinks: Top notch! The Madonna Bar is very elegant with excellent service.

Marianna Mullarkey: Great location in the centre of Melbourne. Club room an excellent feature. Staff are friendly. Facilities are good. Fridge in room is good.Rooms: Executive Club rooms are excellent. Hairdryers actually work. It's a masculine hotel that could do with a small bin in the loo. Maybe a mid towel for drying long hair.

Glynis Stringer: .And breakfast should finish at 10am on weekdays, we are not all on business and like to sleep in.Club room was well set up with a coffee machine and real tea and teapot. Will be back. Thank you.

Quincy Hotel Melbourne: what do users think?

Alison Whitehead: The staff really seem to care about the guest experiences, they were very helpful, upbeat, obliging and just seem to like their job. The rooms were very comfortable, quite modern, very clean, the beds were great. The only let down was the dining experience which seems quite amateurish, the food and choices were fine but the service was terrible. Very very slowRooms: Very clean, modern and comfortableNearby activities: close to aquarium and casinoSafety: quiet and the reception was open till late which surprised meWalkability: close to aquarium and casinoFood & drinks: slow service in barNoteworthy details: overall very very good

adrian dawson: Good experience..Staff were pretty helpfull.Walkability: Close to shopping

Kathy Pensa: Two nights stay.Staff very friendly and generous.Got a drink voucher from Sean and a bottle of wine from Shalan..Has a cocktail on the rooftop bar the first night....Accommodation included breakfast. Bloody greatJust had a few bites from Salted Egg restaurant before heading to airport. Asian fusion. Excellent food

Kenneth Trass: This is short and sweet, from the knowledgeable pre arrival text and email, to the attentive concierge. The clean, modern room, the ample and flavorful breakfast and easy positioning of the hotel to the Railway Station, Trams and Yarra side pubs...this place is exceptional. I travel a lot...and this is one of the best places I've stayed at. I will return! 10/10.Small suggestion, pre 3pm check in would be of benefit.Rooms: Felt larger than it was...funky colours, modern fixtures, super clean.Walkability: Great view of the Yarra from L22.

A Fry: My flight was cancelled and I had no hesitation turning around and rebooking at this hotel.Staff were excellent. Very helpful.Rooms: The rooms are clean, well priced and great value. Theg have TVs with chromecast, and a selection of new movies. Depending on the rooms, great views of Melbourne.Walkability: Convenient - close to southern Cross station and free tram stops.

Yen Yen: Very worth choosing in Mel. Rooms are clean and spacious. The receptionist was so friendly, especially the Vietnamese boyfriend - he was great. Here you can walk to many beautiful places such as parks, Yarra River, museums, casinos, markets... Breakfast is also delicious and thoughtful. There are no negative points with such a reasonable price.

Kate Stewart: Wow, what an awesome hotel and experience, with a fun playful character and such amazing value. The location is top notch and from the moment we stepped in we were greeted with amazing hospitality and were blown away by the amenities and services. The sky high pool was epic and we enjoyed a delicious Asian fusion breakfast at Salted Egg. We loved all the little touches too eg the funky textured wall art, Kevin Murphy products and complimentary $10 mini bar credit. This is going to be our go to hotel for visiting Melbourne from now on!

Yan On The Road: The location is good, you can walk to the city's attractions, and you can also walk to the NGV within half an hour. It's quiet yet quiet, and there's a convenience store opposite. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the TV has a large selection of free movies, but there is no free drinking water in the room. The decoration of the hotel is a bit playful and feels energetic. The biggest disadvantage is that the elevators are very slow. Even though the hotel has three elevators, they will stop on each floor during certain periods.Overall, good value for money.

Matthew H: Look I was in two minds about this one - I didn’t leave thinking "Wow I’ll be back" but the more I thought about each element the more in the end I think there was enough to push me to a 5 star….There were a couple of moments where one or two of the staff proved completely incompetent - however the great staff members really were great - which kinda made up for it....The pool is lame by "Nice hotel standards", quite small... but not a deal breaker...The houser club was a little bit of a let down not being open much and having limited capacity to give you stuff like sparkling water!!!However in general I would have to say our stay was characterised by generosity - I thought the price for what you got and little add ons that weren’t advertised had a feel of generosity to it...The salted egg put on a very decent breakfast and while lobby etc was small it was all modern and niceOn a good day this place is a 5 star at worst it should be a 4 - A solid place that I think is quite good value for what you pay

The Westin Melbourne: what do users think?

James Sikaris: Service: 3/5

VIJAY Perth: I enjoyed every bit of my stay here … from outside or from Google the photos from outside can be bit deceptive but once in you see sheer opulence.. the staff is very friendly too …Rooms: Wow factor.. that is what I can say .. nice workstation.. lots of spaceNearby activities: You are in the heart ❤️ of Melbourne.. so theatres , MCG, Rod Lavern .. you name it ..Safety: I had no reason whatsoever to complain about the safetyWalkability: One street down is Flinders Street .. so main Railway station, Federation Square and Yarra Rivers .. everything is just round the cornerFood & drinks: The Sous Chefs of the hotel 🏨 are too goodNoteworthy details: I have tried to capture the opulence of the hotel 🏨 room.. very spacious and very comfortable

Warburton Holiday House: , but my wife and I regularly find our way into the extensive lobby lounge area for cocktails or a glass of wine after an early evening out on the town. The Westin is just a tranquil oasis, with its spacious open-plan lounge area that runs the whole length of the expansive lobby, between the big entrance and the wide spiral stairs. The comfy upholstered sofas and armchairs are arranged around low coffee tables, either in intimate pairs, or up to 4, 5, or 6 seats, where you can just sink into the comfortable cushions and have a polite attentive person bring you an expresso martini

Michele Gherlenda: My husband and I had an amazing “wicked” themed high tea to celebrate our anniversary and we were very impressed. The team were attentive and even brought out a lovely anniversary treat for us. The food was made to perfection, would definitely go again for a high tea and would consider staying at this hotel in future

Ovolo Laneways: what do users think?

Melinda Rochard: I had a terrific stay at Laneways By Olovo! The rooms are a good size and have all of the amenities and storage needed for a comfortable stay in Melbourne. The styling is super trendy and the staff are more than amazing!Meg and Louisa were so helpful and really went above and beyond in making my stay fun and memorable! There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes in the area to grab a bite to eat or meet up with friends. The happy hour drinks were perfect for meeting with new colleagues for a recent project that I was in town for. The lolly bar, coffee station, water and nibbles were a nice touch as well and appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend Laneways by Ovolo as a hidden treasure 💙

Lorna Flynn: Great base for exploring Melbourne because of comfort, value and location. Little Bourke Street has great cafes and restaurants just a minute or two from the hotel, and the hotel bar, Amphlett, is a great place for drinks and bites. We had a Downtown Studio Suite for two nights in February. Loved the extra space by having a separate lounge room. I appreciated the lighting in the room - a few lamps as well as the overhead lights, and the terrific set up for refreshments - fridge, kettle, etc. The bed was firm but comfortable and there's a fair bit of street noise but nothing that ear plugs couldn't keep out. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.Walkability: A short walk from all the main transport of the CBD

Sebastian Frey: Our travel agency booked us a room here for 2 nights. To be honest, it has to be said that the accommodation is not suitable for traveling with a small child. For example, there was no high chair and no possibility to have breakfast on site. The Laneway team still gave us a really nice stay and was also very helpful with special requests.Overall, we can look back on our stay very satisfied. As a couple we would book here again in a heartbeat. The location is also perfect for a trip to Melbourne.
