Keir McArthur: Great cinema because nobody goes here. Seats are decently comfortable. Sound quality was sub-par compared to independent theatres. Overpriced nowadays but if you want to watch a movie in an empty room it's p good

Brent Smith: Its a hit and miss with the staff and how they're "feeling" about being at work that day. Facilities are well kept

Cinema Nova: what do users think?

Josh Weaver: God I love cinema nova - a great space to watch new trending films as well as lesser known festival films or less mainstream films. Lovely staff, and great events for opening nights and other bits and pieces.

Darren Borg: Show different types of movies compared to village or hoyts aswell as some of there flicks.

colleen cahill: Fabulous place. Comfortable seating. Great movie selection

Elliott T.: I’ve been going years & organizing social events.

Jess: I LOVE CINEMA NOVA!!!! Such a cute vibe I live all the way out in Ringwood and will go out of my way to go here! The popcorn is sooooo delicious my god I wish they had bigger sizes because my boyfriend and I almost finish it before the movie starts! Such a great location and they give you some free parking too!! This has became my boyfriend and I’s new cinema spot!! Definitely recommend this place

Julian H: Cinema with a lot of character. Tickets and snacks reasonably priced, and a cinema membership that is good value. Also discounted parking if you see a movie, which is great as parking in the area can be hard to find.

Daniel Hutchings: I love the Nova!

Allison Taylor: Recently watched What about Sal. Such a great environment, and great to see a small independent and beautiful film given exposure.

gagan Wishal Nadipalli: Great place excellent price and awesome service

Emilia B: Good price for the Monday night $10 tickets. It does get very busy and chaotic inside while waiting to go into the cinema, but expected when there is a good deal on. Delayed 15 min from when the movie was supposed to start, but the cinema was clean and good temperature! Was able to get a park okay in the carpark below when arriving around 8:45pm as plenty of people were leaving then.

Alexander Joyce: Awesome

Rooftop Cinema: what do users think?

Dick Yapara: Porgera gold mine yet to open

Carmen Zirafi: rooftop bar in Melbourne CBD, is always a an incredible experience. The view of Melbourne CBD from the rooftop was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a drink while taking in the iconic sights of Melbourne. The bar itself had an impressive selection of drinks, with a wide range of cocktails, craft beers, and wines to choose from.Whether you're a fan of classic cocktails or prefer to try something more unique, this rooftop bar has something to satisfy every palate or a simple beer! The live music created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience. The music perfectly complemented the stunning views and the lively ambiance of the bar, making it a truly memorable night. If you're in Melbourne and looking for a rooftop bar with a great view, great drinks, and live music, this is the place to be. It's the perfect spot to relax, socialize, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the city. I highly recommend checking it out!

KMH: Fun place with happy vibe to meet friends for the night.

Nelson Ng (Adventure Rider): I enjoy my time with my friends there. We three finish 3 bottles of white wine without feeling drunk. I guess the cold weather help. The chicken popcorn is 5⭐️👍 Highly recommended.Love the environment and music.

IMAX Melbourne: what do users think?

Troyniv: Kids really enjoyed the 3D movie.

Claudine Faerie: Great cinematic experiences to watch a movie on such a huge screen. Everything is super sized here, the picture, the sound - but not the seats that are a bit squashy, nor the popcorn boxes. You pay more for the experience but it's worth it if you pick a great movie or documentary.Snack bar, public toilets and 2 seating areas plus lift for mobility issues if the long escalator ride is too difficult.

K M: .Parking at the museum after 4pm can be validated by the candy bar to just be $5

Tamara Rienzi: Amazing experience

Lido Cinemas: what do users think?

Caroline Hamilton: Hands down my favourite cinema in Melbourne. I love everything about this place, from the vibe to the location to the range of films and special events.

nicole johnston: A cute cinema. Although many stairs. Old world charm. Friendly staff. Walking distance from train station.

Darius Family: There's a reason we've run The ReelGood Film Festival here for over half a decade. Lido's got vibe! The cinemas are awesome, the staff are great and they've got a sweet rooftop to boot. I honestly can't think of a better home for RGFF ❤️

Ash Green: Great selection of movies and food. Awesome staff. Competitive prices. Feels like home!

James Hill: Nice clean cinemas, terrific event screenings, live comedy night & quality customer service. All around good vibes.

The Astor Theatre: what do users think?

Christian Klopfer: Beautiful restored venue

Aaron Willcox: This is such a great ole theatre in great condition. Like how your 90 year old grandpa still goes for a morning run type of condition! What amazed me was the preservation of everything. The old 35mm projection system and movie posters reminding everyone of a time before Disney bought Marvel. A better time.

Xavier Murtagh: I was privileged to attend the opening of a movie at the Astor Theatre. It took me back in time. A very special venue which I hope will last another 100 years at least!

Peter Reed: Great night out to see a movie and the staff are top notch.

Andrew Chudyk: & not the most comfortable, but it's all part of the charm. It makes an interesting change from the modern multi-screen cinemas with their digital audio/visual systems.

Mark Nussy: Beautiful old theatre. Definitely worth experiencing! As they have blocked off many of the exits, if it is full, it takes a long time to leave after a show.

Jane Cee: Lovely ambience... So great to watch an old film in a fitting venue...Thank you Palace People!

Miek Dunbar: Just go

Penny B: So much fun and different! Especially recommend 'Roller Coaster' and 'Sub Zero' films. The host will let you pick if you want a variation.

joe resetar: Cool family fun

Glen Sharman: An excellent experiance in cinerma

Mohamed Ali: amazing

Corey Caeser: I love 3 and 4d attractions and motion cinemas etc. I did visit a similar one in Sydney with kids and was a little disappointed as it was aged and not very good so I wasn't sure if I should go to this one but I had 2 grandchildren with me so I gave it a go, Im glad I did. This one was very good quality and the movie choice was awesome. The guy at the counter was so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome, the show itself was awesome and the roller coaster felt like the real thing. All in all I highly recommend this place as it was lots of fun and we had a great time, money well spent and its great value. Melbourne people are very fortunate to have these type of places so I hope you support them, definitely highly recommended

Village Cinemas Rivoli: what do users think?

Nana: Beautiful Art Deco style cinema under the Village Cinema brand.✅ Sound system and screen comparable to basic Hoyts. Didn't notice any difference compared to non boutique cinemas.✅ Offer regular seating and Village Gold Class seating with a small dated Gold Class lounge. It has a private entrance off Camberwell Road.✅ Friendly staff 🤵🏼‍♂️🤵🏼‍♂️🤵🏼‍♂️✅ Less busy than shopping mall cinemas and Lido. A more private experience.✅ Rooftop bar 🍻 🍺 overlooking Camberwell Road.❌ Steep processing fee if purchasing online.❌ The fabric seats are uncomfortable and armrests are showing some wear. It doesn't recline unlike Hoyts, it is on the smaller side, the short half moon armrest isn't dated and uncomfortable. Seats are noticeably more upright and rigid than Lido and Hoyts. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼❌ Movie start times are 30 minutes AFTER the stipulated screening time. Allow 30 minutes of ads.

Donna Bowey: Amazing atmosphere, the cinemas were lovely and the service in Gold class was great

Toula Bobolas: Always feels classy. Great for alternative movies. Girls night out and a glass of sparkling. Tops.

GJ47 J: We just love it. Nice deco, clean seats, not many loud teenagers, on a not chaotic busy street. Absolutely one of the best movie-date night place, at least for me and hubby

Mersey K: Great theatre love the bar on the roof friendly staff worth a visit

Sharon Armstrong: Loved it so comfortable. Just wish we were there earlier and had a cocktail on the rooftop

Carbon Disaster: Great place

Trish Lucas: Helpful staff. Efficient. Clean and not cluttered in any way. Amenities vg

Moonlight Cinema Melbourne: what do users think?

Kaily Traumann: Perfect view behind the screen. Food and drinks were great plus the sound and picture was clear. You also have a choice to bring your own bean bags ☺️. A really nice experience to enjoy with your family and friends, or a lovely date night 😊

Donald Yip: Watched Dune Part 2, and I was sceptical at first. This was a movie that need proper screen/contrast and a good sound system. I was pleasantly surprised - to ambience and sound was awesome and matched that of a premium cinema. Having helicopters fly above us during certain scenes also added to the ambience

Valeria Rojo Garzón: It is a great plan to do as a couple, friends or family I recommend bringing some blankets to be much more comfortable. The people who work there were all very kind. It's a nice experience to watch a movie under the moonlight 🌕

Bec Pellowe: Oh my goodness, an experience I will never forget! We bought the connoisseur tickets, and they were definitely worth the extra money.Don’t forget your bug spray, and a blanket. This will now be an annual event for the rest of my life!

Palace Cinema Como: what do users think?

Paul Drummond: Great cinema. Pleasure to watch a movie here although why they need to pump masses of cold air though the cinema towards the end of the movie is beyond me.

Rónán D: One of the favorite places in the world to watch a good film

Tomas Escobedo: I love that the rooms are small makes it more intimate not like the big chain cinemas I was used to. The staff is friendly.Tuesdays are the best days to watch a movie here.

Al Grant: The luxurious way to see first class films with a like minded audience

Demi Phillips: Always great experience at the French Film Festival.

Shannon Checklin: Love coming here to see a film.

Gina Ellis: Platinum Como has no working soap dispenser since at least October 2023. There is a long term leak in one of the toilets. What is more is that the staff are aware of these issues. Not a great lux experience.

Gold Class Cinema: what do users think?

Tony Wenz: It's Gold Class.Order food and/or drinks through movie, at a time that suits you.

Sonja Ulms: Comfortable way to watch a movie. Food was average and too much brought to us at the same time. Drinks we ordered didn't come till the movie was finished.

Judith Velasquez: The Gold Class cinema was nice and the seats were actually comfortable. The waiting area for the Gold Class is classy. The only thing I didn't like was that we asked for our food to be served at the start of the movie but they didn't come until 15 minutes into the movie. I had 3 kids with me and we had to distribute the food in the dark.

Greg Brindley: Really good. Nice atmosphere, quality seating and efficient staff. Shame the food is below par and darned expensive for what you get.

MJ Springer: Great service, especially inside the movie theatre, lovely staff. Audio and visual quality was pretty good but the atmosphere was very lacking in the waiting area.

jill sutherland: Would like to say thank you to Jamie the manager at Gold Class fountain gate for her amazing help with sorting out our tickets and vouchers after our human error. 😊

John Charles: Fabulous place

Caleb Geppert: Great selection of food and comfortable seats

Great snack bar, with all the traditional treats.... choc tops and popcorn. Enjoy a tipple before the show at the bar. Go local and support an independent cinema.

The Princess Theatre: what do users think?

Elizabeth Green: Apart from the timeless queue outside the toilets an awesome spot to host great shows and bake memorable moments.

Max Friederich: Glorious palace. Lots of great eateries nearby. Great seating and sight lines. Go early and explore the splendor.

Sue Mason: Stunning theatre, historical and beautiful

Steve Woods: Fantastic show very comfortable seats, friendly staff

morry hayman: Love this venue, and have frequented it on many occasions very happily. At very last minute, decided to attend Tim Minchin's Groundhog Day. A truly wonderful production. However, I will never sit upstairs again, especially at non-discounted prices! The seats were so small for an adult, and so close together, that my enjoyment of the show was handicapped. With large male adults on either side of me, whose intimacy I was not seeking, the need to alternately lean forward and back became necessary. With hindsight, I should have bought the soundtrack, along with a Tshirt from merch, to support the artist instead.Definitely not worth the full price ticket to support the venue.*insert sad face emoji here*

Brian Dowley: A great venue for a show. Facilities are very good. I highly recommend you bring your own water and snacks. Price of water at $6 a bottle is a rip-off.

Peter Cigognini: Haven't been in a while and saw the last show of Groundhog Day.Magnificent performance and an awesome show.Luv it

Douglas Grace: A lovely old theatre with good views from most seats. The stage was perfect for a show like Ground Hog Day and I cannot wait for the next amazing show at the Princess.

Travel Guy: Love seeing shows here. Seats are comfy, staff are polite. Get there early and you can almost park out front well 50m away.

Rita Angus: Heritage theatre, beautiful windows and ceilings. Excellent view from first row upstairs

Sandra Maney: Awesome venue

David Greenwood OAM: Great seating even in the cheepys
