Reopening in June 2019 after 18 months of construction work to our building we are excited to welcome families back and new ones to our centre. We offer a wonderful combination of convenience with a bright, natural environment and an expansive outdoor playground - partially covered for all weather play outside.


We have 6 learning spaces, including 2 Nursery rooms, the first room 0-15months and the second catering for our 15months-24months children. Two 2-3year old Toddler rooms, a 3-4year-old Kindergarten room and a 4-5 year old Kindergarten room which both run the Kindergarten Accredited program.

We offer 2 years of kinder. That's two years of continued high-quality early learning, playing and making friends. Everything your child needs to feel ready for school.

Our rooms are thoughtfully designed to reflect our commitment to children, educators, families and the local community. Our resource rich environments encourage children to explore and our play-based learning programs are delivered by a team of passionate qualified early childhood educators and teachers.

Hi, my name is Chelsea Snowden and I am the Centre Director of Goodstart Melbourne Flinders Street.

I have been in the Early Childhood profession for over seven years and hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and care and have worked in various roles within the Goodstart family. I am very passionate about children and have continued my studies with a Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary teaching.

I believe children are at the heart of everything we do, and we want to encourage each child to be strong, confident and independent beings to give them the best possible start in life. Only About Children Melbourne Central is a conveniently located and expansive childcare centre. All of our age-based rooms lead to a fantastic outdoor play space, with large sandpits, a bike track and the opportunity for plenty of climbing experiences on our fort and slide! Children at our early learning centre are encouraged to lead their own play through creativity and exploration. We have no barriers or divides between the ages and this really encourages social interaction between the children and quality time amongst siblings. We have five dedicated age-based rooms that are designed with natural elements.
