My experience with Homestead has been more than fantastic. I have a 12 yr cavvy with pre-existing medical issues and special needs. Before I boarded him, I requested a tour around the facility. Alaina was able to book that in for me in a speedy manner the next day. The tour was very informative and it was great seeing all the pups happy and content. Lucky stayed in a total of 8 days and had a fantastic time. I opted in the my pet space add on, which they will update on your pup’s daily behaviours and send photos/videos through to your account on their website. Furthermore, I mistakenly miscounted my cavvy’s medication, Homestead went above and beyond to ordered more meds from my vet, and picked at no extra cost (40min drive), which I am extremely grateful for. Thank you very much for the team at Homestead Pet Retreat! I will most definitely be back in the future when I need to board my dogs again :)

Homestead is a place where magic happens. Yes, the magic happened to my golden girl Chips in 21days of Board and Train program with David. Enrolment process with seamless, with regular follow-up with paper works, dietchart, medication. Now the day arrived when we took Chips at Homestead for the 1st time. More than her I was stressed but the staff were extremely helpful to get things organised. David patiently listened to all her problem areas and explained the process of training. 21days were like months to me without Chips, but when I arrived there I was really surprised to see my changed girl. Loose leash walking, no lunging at other dogs, pretty focused while training. The transition training to us was pretty thorough with a follow-up session in week's time . Even Chips was not ready to leave David while coming back home. I was touched, cause Chips doesn't do that often. It's the bond that was established was amazing. Overall we are very happy with magic that Homestead had created on my girl and would highly recommend to anyone who wants their Dog to be a 'GOOD DOG'

Took my dog for board and train as he is reactive to other dogs. Dave did a great job working him around other dogs and he picked up a few new skills along the way. Recommend if you're having trouble training your dog and want a bit of professional help.
