Cynthia (Cynful Recommends): ig/tiktok: @cynfulrecommends🍒 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 - AUD 7⁣Couldn’t resist getting this because of the unique flavour combination! I’ve never really seen anyone pair pistachios with black cherries. Those dollops of homemade pistachio paste with the yummy frangipane were divine too. What’s worth highlighting is also the super flakey and butter pastry too, definitely FRESH 😍⁣⁣🥐 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥 - AUD 6⁣This was basically a churro in croissant form. The pastry was buttery, but definitely not as flakey as the danish, mostly because of its form. Not a huge fan of this because it was a little one noted, but my partner enjoyed it⁣⁣ 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞 - AUD 2⁣Their price card literally wrote “a little plain vanilla sponge cake” which was exactly what it was. A decent and basic madeleine, but would highly recommend spending on other pastries instead⁣⁣They’re apparently also known for their pandan flan, but we didn’t try those since pandan is a flavour we could easily get in Singapore.

Florianti Sjaaf: MadeleinesFood: 5/5 …

Iris Lim (Nomninjas): ‼️check out @nomninjas on facebook, instagram, lemon8 ✨💗 credits when photos/video used.…Got their popular pandan flan croissant as well💗 the custard core was served hot and thick! the wobbly custard core was overpowering with the pandan flavor but also eggy-ness💥 and the size is huge ✨ interestingly doesn’t taste asian at all though it’s pandan 👌didn’t resemble an egg tart or a custard cake - truly its own type of pastry 👍….Got their special then as well - Blsck pearl croissant made with squid ink - didn’t really taste very different from a typical croissant 👅 actually kinda less buttery? it’s black for sure 🙃…the queue moves quite fast so don’t be scared by it!

Elle Nguyen: Best in quality and variety compare with some overrated patisserie in Melbourne . Croissants are way better than Lune in my opinion.

Hida Saju: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Pandan Croissant

Joanna Koat: Delicious! Loved the choc chip custard pastry! So many more good looking options to try next timeBe prepared to wait in line but it moved quickly when we were there and gave us time to decide what we wanted!

Hilary Tan: , but the flakiness fluffiness flavour and everything was perfect, you can not, not give 5 stars.Tips: go early if you don’t wanna miss it, they sell out quick!

Gigi T: After years of anticipation, I finally had the chance to visit this renowned bakery in Melbourne. I managed to snag one of their star items—the pandan croissant—before it sold out. And let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. The combination of the crispy crust and the soft, flavourful interior was nothing short of perfection. I highly recommend enjoying it fresh out of the oven for the ultimate experience. This bakery definitely lived up to its reputation, and I can't wait to go back for more.

Kiara Schoonens: Devine pastries... just wish I didn't have to cue up its so popular!

Mark Goepel: Second time here. From Queensland. Both times brilliant!Thank you❤️😄

Paul Richards: I've ordered a few things from Almost French over the years and they've all been great - including the lobster roll, Cornish pasty, chocolate eclair, almond croissant, ham and cheese croissant, apple danish, carrot cake, and the almond-pear tart.Plus, if you're looking to buy a largeish cake/tart on Swan St - and are willing to spend a little extra than Coles but not as much as Messina - then look no further! It is, indeed, almost French.

Ivan Thomas George Daniels: A nice place for coffee. Coffee not bad either

gaeynhighar suksatit: This almond croissant is amazing! Would have been better if they had warm it up but still pretty good.

MINNIE TSANG: Lots of French Patisserie can be chosen at a reasonable price.

Eugenie French Cake Shop: what do users think?

Ben Savill: Delicious authentic French cakes, friendly staff

Shayde L Findlay: Had once ordered a coffee and monkey face biscuit but didn't get what I'd paid for; I guess this is partially my fault as I was in a rush but am disappointed the attendant didn't say "hey here's the rest of your order" as I was walking out!"Will still go back for coffee but will be very careful next time. Was disappointed - but hey when I did go back had mentioned the incident the day before and got my coffee on the house!!!!!! Made my day run very smoothly, will definitely be keeping this cafe/bakery as a regular spot, love that they do caramel latte's especially.

Kellie Nonnenmacher: Stopped in here to grab a small almond friand while walking by. It was amazing. The staff member who served us was also really friendly and nice when she served us.They had many other baked items that looked great as well. Will 100% stop in here again.

M C: Bought the escargot and eclair while waiting for the tram, and I’ve got to say the escargot taste much nicer!Prices are not displayed outside, however you will see the price tags inside the store. Owner is very friendly too.

Betty S: Lovely little place! Owner is friendly, will be back for more yummy desserts

Don Tadixz: This shop is located just across the road from the trendy Prahran Markets. Just because a suburb is 'hip' doesn't mean I want that to affect my hip pocket. When in the area, I often pop in to Eugenie's for a snack and a French patisserie. They have the friendliest staff who clearly appear to enjoy their work. They make a mean sausage roll and their sweet selection is delectable and keenly priced. If you're feeling peckish, might I suggest you have a snack here before heading for the market....

Thomas Hansen: Best cherry Danish in all of Melbourne, probably Australia. We go early to get them warm; absolutely delightful. Cheesecake also wonderful. If you're at Prahran market you really should come here - as long as you don't get there before me!

T M: My favorite place in Prahran.Best croissant ever, also their egg and bacon brioche is really tasty.Best deals for breakfast / brunch.

Jay Kay: Nice coffee and cake coupled with delightful friendly service. ☕🍰💞

Naomi: So delicious. Anytime I’m Southside I make sure I get myself a treat here. It’s consistently good and service is 10/10
