A wonderful hotel I’ve stayed at many times and if rooms are available it’s my first choice when visiting Melbourne in the city. The 1920’s style architecture is beautiful in every part of the hotel and superbly maintained. The bigger rooms are great with their tall windows and 20 ft ceilings. The entrance foyer is worth the stay alone. The quintessential old Melbourne hotel experience. -

Its about a 10-15 minute walk to Southern Cross Station but there is a tram service available on Flinders St if you prefer to catch a tram.
