DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Melbourne - Flinders Street: what do users think?

Battalis E (EB): and cleanliness of the hotel. The Hilton member app is really handy, can check in before you arrive, choose your room, pay etc

Bradley Backhouse: We have a weekly meeting here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Steven and Anu always work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly for is. Food is also great. Highly recommend

Effie Gaeta: Has a great stay at Doubletree. Rooms were nice . Views were not good , we were facing Elizabeth street we could only see the corridor of the building next door .Rooms: Rooms were nice , the furniture was a bit worn on the top . Bed was awesome and so were the pillows. You were given a bottle of water at check in then you could get refills when you took the bottle to reception . Breakfast was ok , scrambled eggs were very very runny nearly soup consistency apart from that , it was ok .

Yofany S: It was a great stay. For a lazy person like me, the free trams & location are very convenient. There’s a tram in front & beside the hotel. Groceries, coffees, foods, major attractions and shops are really nearby. If you’re keen to walk, you can go to SB via the bridge too. The room was nice, clean, and size is just right for two of us - they clean it everyday too. Tips. The hotel is sandwiched between buildings, so if you are particular on windows / view - just book the room with flinders view for guarantee.

Rachael Marlow: Nearby activities: Shops and restaurants and crown casino .Walkability: Walking distance from Flinders Street station .Food & drinks: The hotel had a very nice restaurant and bar.

Bollyboy Youssef-kharoubi: The best location in town! You will be in the middle of everything! High recommended! The Hotel is nice and the Staff is kind! Clean rooms and good breakfast! The only thing to complain about is the internet connection! So if you are planing any business and wanna work from the hotel, forget it.

CJ Celine Ong: Big comfy clean room, huge bed, fluffy pillows, lotsa closet space, cold ac, spacious bathroom, Nespresso machine, nice gym! Conveniently located, food outlets, amenities walking distance.Work trip, got everything I needed for a great stay, recharged! My hotel choice.

Nagendra Prasad Immidi: Hotel is located in the heart of Docklands.Lobby Staff are real good. Specially Michelle and Jr.Michelle, Hank, Ali are amazing and very friendly. However, during my 15days stay...I observed some days the housekeeping of room was not done properly as I could see dust on the table and bedding is not arranged. Offcourse not all days...They should check the flushing system which is very low and needs to be more pressured. The same was good in AC Melbourne Marriott.

Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley: what do users think?

Kate Harland: I've stayed at a few hotels over the years for work and this is one of my more enjoyable experiences. The staff were lovely and the room was a good size and well maintained. It's also a fantastic location for going to the cinema and shopping with a vast array of eateries and grocery stores if need.

Richard Hudson: On check in I was met with extremely courteous staff. Namely Mannoj who was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. My wife and I found that the shower over the bath was not good, given our medical condition.

Manpreet: First of all special thank you to the Male staff who made the booking on the phone for me, and the two lovely receptionists that worked morning of Friday 12th April. Novotel is always our go to for family staycations and this time around, my mum was here and it was her birthday so we decided to recruit her to Novotel and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for the treats and for your thoughtful hospitality. Location is perfect so was the restaurants around. We enjoyed bowling and the movies below the hotel.

PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport: what do users think?

Patrick Riley: Much better than our previous visit, the whole hotel has had a long overdue face lift.Rooms where modern and refreshed, the bed /matress was abit cheap and you can already feel them starting to feel the springs it says alot for Sealy Mattresses.Food and Beveridge, Nice new look in the resturant with a great selection of modern australian cusine, portions where abit smaller than I expected but all where of an excellent standard. Hats off to the current chefs, my previous vouched never to return to the hotel due to the horid meal amongst other things. But the meal was great , drinks good, service staff were nice and efficient. Overall an excellent place to grab a bite and a nights sleep for an early morning flight or vice versa. 3 minute walk to international airport terminal.

Petrina Verma: Brilliant location near everything important. Staff were so friendly and helpful / especially Therese and Jack. Rooms were well fitted out and so clean and tidy. Beds were really comfy - a rare occurrence in hotels! I had a great experience and will definitely come back on my next trip to Melbourne. Thank you.Rooms: Well fitted out, neat, tidy, all amenities you need, very clean.Food & drinks: Lovely cafes nearby, great shops close by, Woolies a few minute walk.

Sprite Extra sugar: Only stayed one night here, but both staff members I spoke to were super friendly and helped with my strange situation with my flight cancellation. The hotel itself is right next to a strip of lovely places to eat and the room has everything you could need including wifi however my shower was wrecked otherwise perfect little room for my one night in melbourne👌.

Brodie Cook: This would be the best Motel that I’ve ever stayed @,Form Bookings, rooms & the MealsFirst class, Keep up the great work Best Western 👏👏👏Rooms: Beautiful & clean , could not get any better.Safety: Someone on guard 24/7Walkability: Right in the middle of everythingFood & drinks: Great Buffet

Kenneth Blaas: Overall would stay again but the price doesn’t reflect the star rating of the hotel.

Jake Byun: Fantastic location with walking distance from the city. The staff are absolutely friendly - Shannon, Paul and Teresa were all so helpful. My nephew enjoyed the swimming pool as well. The walls between the rooms however are so thin so you could hear lots of things :( be mindful of this!

Elena Martelli: Clean, simple hotel and very convenient to public transport to the CBD, ideal if you don't want to spend a fortune in the city centre. From here it's a few bus stops to the CBD, the staff are very friendly and the rooms are always clean. Advised!Walkability: Close to public transport to the CBD

Ovolo South Yarra: what do users think?

Denis Fitzgerald: It's a quirky hotel with lots of great little areas to relax, like downstairs there is a lounge area with a great pool table. Also an erea for you to sit and do your work on your laptop if it needs to be done. The area has great eateries in walking distance and great shopping. Close to trams and trains. Great mini bar.The BadThe room we had was small and with the very comfortable and very large King bed, there was virtually no room to easily get to the bathroom. It left a gap of about 10cm at the end of the bed. The bedside control panel was falling apart and had blu tac added in an attempt to fix it.Walkability: You can easily walk to South Yarra train station, Prahran Market and loads of eateries and shops

Ellen D: Fun, retro hotel conveniently located in trendy, South Yarra, just around the corner from Chapel Street and great eateries and cafes. Only a five minute walk to the South Yarra train station and from there just another 5-10 minutes until you’re in the heart of the city on flinders street. Staff were welcoming and accomodating. I stayed in the small Go-Go room, and while it would be a tight squeeze for two, it was perfect for a solo trip! Overall, I felt very safe and comfortable. Would definitely recommend, particularly to other solo travellers. I hope to return in the near future.

Nora Sheehan: in the lobby, along with the free mini bar in the rooms and a birthday gift

Brooke Burgess: Stayed for one week.Menu was fantastic- delicious foodBeautiful rooms and love the tea and coffee machineComfy beds and quiet roomsExcellent friendly and professional staff

Annie Kelly: My daughter and I just finished our stay and loved it. Rooms were spacious and luxurious, and the in room food service was second to none. Only complaint were the entitled visitors during breakfast, who were either rude, impatient or snooty. Additionally trying to get hold of reception or concierge from the room, needs major improvement. One more thing for visitors, do not leave your smelly nappy in the KFC bag for staff to empty. Do it yourself, it stunk up the hallway on level nine.

ML Soong: The rooms were great and beautifully designed. Location was great as it is next to the Chadstone Shopping mall and have a great steakhouse next to it. the only negative point is sometimes the master light turn off after some time and it happened in the middle of my shower which freaked me out. Otherwise, great stay, good breakfast spread, nice heated pool at top level with a view.

Serene Chia: My son and I enjoyed our stay very much other than the fact that it was a public holiday so the pool was quite busy. The pool also wasn't manned and there were no towels available.Rooms: Rooms were a charm. Take note only the deluxe suite and one bedrooms have bath tubs.Nearby activities: Chadstone shopping centre has everything.Food & drinks: Check out the hotel restaurants or go to the social quarter at the shopping centre.

Caterina Kasiaras: Our experience was ok, disappointed at pool food service.Saturday we ordered 3 bowls of chips, 2 pizza and various drinks. Waited 1 hour and 25 minutes. Three calls to service. In arrival our chips were cold but asked for one bowl to be left behind as 4 little kids were hungry and returned the other 2.We still got charged for the one left behind. Wait time was disappointing.Rooms: Great rooms, spacious and cleanNearby activities: Lego land, Chadstone shopping, and much more.Walkability: Walk to shops in Chadstone or others around the area

Attie Botha: Room lights are overly complicated and the sensors turn the lights on in the room waking everyone up when going to the bathroom. Then you struggle to understand how to turn lights off. We also had a gift delivered to the room that never turned up. We ordered food from the pool area that never turned up, in the end ordered it from the room. I still have my deposit not refunded. Good potential but way too many misses.Nearby activities: Chadstone shopping centre.Walkability: Chadstone

Sangeeta Sharma: Have attended seminars, awesome.

Reece Harrison: and the food was well prepared. Coffee from pow wow was up to par for Melbourne. I was level 9 room 5 and had centrered views up the river towards the casino. A little bit of construction noise and the trams start early, nothing an ear plug didn't fix. Room was clean and bathroom well kept.

Matt Short: Fabulous central location, with easy access on Southbank... and tram network. short walk to the trains as well. Hotel rooms and decor was great and the staff were very attentive and helpful. 4/5 for service though as the bar shuts at about 2215.. which after a hard day working and getting back at 2130.. we all didn't fancy a walk out and then felt a bit rushed having a single little beer.

Dij Thulasi: What an incredible hotel! Highly recommended. We recently stayed here, and the service was outstanding. We were provided with an epic view of the Yarra River and experienced everything Melbourne has to offer in terms of authenticity. The rooms were spacious, and we were warmly welcomed. The concierge even provided us with a bottle of champagne. We will definitely be back. It was truly a magical experience!

aislinn curyer: Booked this as part of a Jetstar package which meant we got a riverview room, access to the buffet breakfast and late checkout, we also got a dining voucher but didn’t useHad some difficulty finding the place due to construction around the building and having not stayed here before; only to get to the lift and find it out of order which meant we had to lug our suitcases up the stairsRoom was clean and comfortable, view was great and happy with the location, easy access to the casino and trams to get where we wanted to goBreakfast was decent enough, lots of choices; some hot breakfast items were a bit dry thoughStaff were definitely the highlight here, great interactions with staff in the restaurant and dive bar as well as the concierge at both check in and outWould stay again

Brent Dennis: Can't really fault the place.Good location for what we wanted to do.Room was great and the block out blinds were amazing actually slept in.The breakfast was great as well. All round d great stay.

Kenneth ~ Portlandケン、ポトランド: We stayed here in February. It’s a great hotel only problem is they have a homeless woman living there she’s been there for over six months. She lingers in the laundry room and verbally attacks people.I notified the front desk staff. They just shook their head and said we know. The hotel needs to remove this woman from the property ASAP.

Vandana Murthy: Fantastic hotel. Free breakfast buffet is delicious. Elevators are fast. Daily bed turnover and towels which is a real treat. Beautiful lobby. Gym is also great. It is in an incredible location. A mere 10 mins walk from Federation square and the national gallery of Victoria, 15 mins walk to Royal botanic garden and Melbourne Cricket Ground, the nearby Riverside Quay is a fun and beautiful vibe. I highly recommend staying here!

Bryce Simpson: Hotel highlights Great view, Great value

Mangala Suresh: All nice, except that as you check in they credited themselves 50 $ saying it will be credited back to me after 10 days after we check out, it is since 12 days no news of credit. No other Holiday inn did this, except here.

VIJAY Perth: I enjoyed every bit of my stay here … from outside or from Google the photos from outside can be bit deceptive but once in you see sheer opulence.. the staff is very friendly too …Rooms: Wow factor.. that is what I can say .. nice workstation.. lots of spaceNearby activities: You are in the heart ❤️ of Melbourne.. so theatres , MCG, Rod Lavern .. you name it ..Safety: I had no reason whatsoever to complain about the safetyWalkability: One street down is Flinders Street .. so main Railway station, Federation Square and Yarra Rivers .. everything is just round the cornerFood & drinks: The Sous Chefs of the hotel 🏨 are too goodNoteworthy details: I have tried to capture the opulence of the hotel 🏨 room.. very spacious and very comfortable

Warburton Holiday House: , but my wife and I regularly find our way into the extensive lobby lounge area for cocktails or a glass of wine after an early evening out on the town. The Westin is just a tranquil oasis, with its spacious open-plan lounge area that runs the whole length of the expansive lobby, between the big entrance and the wide spiral stairs. The comfy upholstered sofas and armchairs are arranged around low coffee tables, either in intimate pairs, or up to 4, 5, or 6 seats, where you can just sink into the comfortable cushions and have a polite attentive person bring you an expresso martini

Michele Gherlenda: My husband and I had an amazing “wicked” themed high tea to celebrate our anniversary and we were very impressed. The team were attentive and even brought out a lovely anniversary treat for us. The food was made to perfection, would definitely go again for a high tea and would consider staying at this hotel in future

van Maanenberg: Went to Melbourne for a family 50th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley. Booked and paid for on online and also checked in online. On arrival, receptionist was polite and very helpful. The room was clean, neat no smells. Everything spotless. Verry comfortable bed. In the morning, we went down for the buffet breakfast and at $20 ph, was a wonderful array on just about everything you need. The breakfast staff were great. When the hash brown and scrambled egg servers were almost empty, kitchen staff arrived quickly to refill. Love the scrambled eggs, hash brown, bacon, beans and the orange juice. Very happy with the Ibis and my wife and I both left feeling good about the place. Good prices and no complaints from us.
