4worldlovers: This Iyengar Yoga Certification Mark is exclusively used by certified Iyengar Yoga teachers demonstrating their authenticity and commitment to the Iyengar method of yoga. It is a worldwide symbol signifying the highest standards of excellence in training and continuing education. All teachers at Luna Yoga are certified Iyengar Yoga teachers.

We ask you to commit to six (or more) classes in this specified six-week time frame. Ideally one class a week, however if you miss your usual class, you can make it up at another class time.

Our courses are designed in a progressive manner i.e. what you learn from one week is carried over to the next. This gives you the best chance to develop and enjoy your yoga practice creating coherence and depth in your understanding.

We don’t offer one off or casual classes as when a new student randomly joins the group, they are out of sync with the teachings that have gone before and disorientation may occur.

If you are new to yoga (and Iyengar Yoga) and commence at the beginning of a six week block you are taught the fundamentals and each week you and the class builds on the last weeks teachings. This develops a cohesive group of yogis which is very supportive in nature. The progression of the group amplifies your transformation.

You can book into your classes in advance and cancel up to five hours before the class starts.

Prenatal Yoga is back on at Yarraville Yoga Centre. Practice safely with a fully qualified yoga instructor to build strength, gain confidence and create a sense of calm.

Out of a sense of caution during this delicate time, a yoga practice in not recommended between weeks 8 and 12 of pregnancy.

Our Introductory courses are open to all ages and all levels of fitness. Perfect if you’ve never done Iyengar yoga, have done a little or just want to ease back in.

The Introductory Level membership includes a 7 day FREE TRIAL, commencing from date of purchase. The free trial converts to a 6 week Introductory course. You can cancel before the 6 weeks is over, but otherwise it rolls on for an additional 6 weeks, which really allows you to consolidate, before moving on to a level 1 course.

Introductory courses run for 6 weeks and there are 2 courses per term. It is recommended students complete 2 x 6 week courses before moving to the next level.
