The Langham, Melbourne: what do users think?

Tony Leo: Lovely hotel at a great spot, right beside the river and the view is wonderful! We got the CBD river and train station view. Room is very quiet and the opulence decor gives us a glimpse into 1930s American feel. Not to say the hotel is old, but it had its own charm. Everything is grand and the staffs are lovely. Connected to the mall beside on the promenade level.I also want to commend the staffs for helping me change the dates of accommodation with a 3rd party booking site before we arrived! Thank you, The Langham!!

Jarrad Hines: Our stay at The Langham Melbourne during the Australian Open in January was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by Maheesha and the entire team. The attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction were evident throughout our stay. Maheesha went above and beyond to make our experience truly unforgettable. These unexpected touches added an extra layer of luxury to our stay and left a lasting impression. The Langham Melbourne prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, and it certainly shows. Every interaction with the staff was marked by genuine care and a commitment to excellence.

Simon Peterson: . Our daughter unfortunately became ill with croup at 11pm that evening and had to go to hospital in the ambulance. The staff were so amazing and helpful. We could not express how caring and kind they were to our daughter and us. Thank you so much and we will be back soon! World Class venue.

Michel Desjardins: . It's a 4-stars at best.

Mem A. T: Totally awesome, one of the best Hotels in the best locations of MelbourneNearby activities: Perfectly located near cafés, restaurants, NGV, galleries, entertainment and fantastic viewsWalkability: Walk or scooter around townFood & drinks: Amazing food, nothing but the highest quality with local and international flavours

John Juleff: A 5 star Hotel with an impeccable look and reputation. The rooms, sadly, although clean, are dated and showed the constant use of wear n tear on carpets, chipped tiles and stains in the bathroom. The Aria Lounge we ordered a drink and waited 10 minutes seeing the drinks on the bar. The waitress ignored use as she was making coffee instead, so much for table service got them myself. The Melba Breakfast is amazing, and the multitudes of choices are for everyones pallet. Mini bar is expensive, the bed was comfortable but lumpy, valet parking $80, or book ahead the southgate under hotel carpark $35 for 24hrs.Our experience was a treat for us, as being close to our planned activities, however, we won't be rushing back to stay there. sorry Langham only ok for usRooms: Dated for being 5 star opulentNearby activities: southgate shops and restaurantsWalkability: easy walking to southgateFood & drinks: ok but expensive

Prakash Sharma: We had a wonderful staycation at the Langham! Highlights included having a room upgrade, affording us a stunning view of the city skyline overlooking the Yarra, the amazing breakfast at Melba, Valet parking and just general excellent service from all staff including one of the easiest check outs experienced. We would definitely like to return!

Deniz: We had a nice stay at the hotel overall. We booked with AMEX, so had the third night free, and got a nice view room as well. The hotel is dated, bet it looked great 20 years ago. The biggest problem was the queue in the breakfast. We’ve waited over 20 minutes for the breakfast, and the staff joked about why we set our alarm same as other guests. It was quite unprofessional and you’d expect better service from a five star hotel.

Bronwyn Haitana: The Langham Melbourne on the Yarra River epitomizes luxury and serenity in an excellent location. Situated by the beautiful Yarra River, with stunning views of Flinders Train Station and the bustling city, the hotel's 19th-floor room offers a picturesque setting for a memorable stay.As a Brilliant Langham member, I am delighted by the exceptional service and exclusive perks that elevate my experience. The personalized attention and special privileges truly make me feel valued and appreciated. My visit to Chuan Spa was a highlight, as the massage melted away all my stress, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The seamless blend of comfort, elegance, and impeccable service at The Langham Melbourne is truly commendable. For a tranquil escape in the heart of Melbourne, The Langham Melbourne is a top choice for a luxurious retreat. From the vibrant city views to the pampering at the spa, every moment here is tailored to perfection for a Brilliant Langham member like myself.

Meredith Begg: Wonderful place to stay - excellent service, excellent facilities, suite was superb and food was fantastic. Highly recommended.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Melbourne - Flinders Street: what do users think?

Battalis E (EB): and cleanliness of the hotel. The Hilton member app is really handy, can check in before you arrive, choose your room, pay etc

Bradley Backhouse: We have a weekly meeting here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Steven and Anu always work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly for is. Food is also great. Highly recommend

Effie Gaeta: Has a great stay at Doubletree. Rooms were nice . Views were not good , we were facing Elizabeth street we could only see the corridor of the building next door .Rooms: Rooms were nice , the furniture was a bit worn on the top . Bed was awesome and so were the pillows. You were given a bottle of water at check in then you could get refills when you took the bottle to reception . Breakfast was ok , scrambled eggs were very very runny nearly soup consistency apart from that , it was ok .

Yofany S: It was a great stay. For a lazy person like me, the free trams & location are very convenient. There’s a tram in front & beside the hotel. Groceries, coffees, foods, major attractions and shops are really nearby. If you’re keen to walk, you can go to SB via the bridge too. The room was nice, clean, and size is just right for two of us - they clean it everyday too. Tips. The hotel is sandwiched between buildings, so if you are particular on windows / view - just book the room with flinders view for guarantee.

Rachael Marlow: Nearby activities: Shops and restaurants and crown casino .Walkability: Walking distance from Flinders Street station .Food & drinks: The hotel had a very nice restaurant and bar.

Bollyboy Youssef-kharoubi: The best location in town! You will be in the middle of everything! High recommended! The Hotel is nice and the Staff is kind! Clean rooms and good breakfast! The only thing to complain about is the internet connection! So if you are planing any business and wanna work from the hotel, forget it.

The Hotel Windsor: what do users think?

delta wine: High Tea very nice cakes similar to La GateauTeas on offer excellentSafety: In a safe area of Melbourne however as Melbourne is a large Metropolitan city not all areas are completely safe

şahin furuncuoglu: A beautiful historical luxury hotel. Opened in 1884, the Windsor is notable for being Melbourne's only surviving purpose-built Victorian hotel.

John ADAMS: We just spent five nights at the Windsor in Melbourne and loved the old world charm of the place. It was my wife’s birthday and we were surprised to find sparkling wine and a birthday card in our room when we arrived. I loved the architecture, decor and history of the place. The dinning room for breakfast each morning was special with silver service and a great selection from the menu. We did the high tea and it was something very special to help celebrate my wife’s birthday week. The staff at the restaurant were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect with all the restaurants in the area as well as the theatre. We travel to Melbourne every year for the Anzac Day football and it was so easy being able to walk the short distance to the MCG. The only thing that I could say if I had any criticism is I don’t like the shower over the bath and the bathroom in our room is in need of a make over with the basin cracked and toilet seat loose. I guess it’s got to be expected being that it’s a heritage list building but some things could do with a bit of a tidy up to keep it in pristine condition. I would definitely consider staying at the Windsor when we visit Melbourne in the future.

nobu k: Breakfast was very good. The building is old, but it has a nice atmosphere.Rooms: Although it's old, it might be good for people who like rooms and furniture with this kind of design.Food & drinks: Breakfast is the best.

Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery by Sofitel: what do users think?

Brooke Burgess: Stayed for one week.Menu was fantastic- delicious foodBeautiful rooms and love the tea and coffee machineComfy beds and quiet roomsExcellent friendly and professional staff

Annie Kelly: My daughter and I just finished our stay and loved it. Rooms were spacious and luxurious, and the in room food service was second to none. Only complaint were the entitled visitors during breakfast, who were either rude, impatient or snooty. Additionally trying to get hold of reception or concierge from the room, needs major improvement. One more thing for visitors, do not leave your smelly nappy in the KFC bag for staff to empty. Do it yourself, it stunk up the hallway on level nine.

ML Soong: The rooms were great and beautifully designed. Location was great as it is next to the Chadstone Shopping mall and have a great steakhouse next to it. the only negative point is sometimes the master light turn off after some time and it happened in the middle of my shower which freaked me out. Otherwise, great stay, good breakfast spread, nice heated pool at top level with a view.

Serene Chia: My son and I enjoyed our stay very much other than the fact that it was a public holiday so the pool was quite busy. The pool also wasn't manned and there were no towels available.Rooms: Rooms were a charm. Take note only the deluxe suite and one bedrooms have bath tubs.Nearby activities: Chadstone shopping centre has everything.Food & drinks: Check out the hotel restaurants or go to the social quarter at the shopping centre.

Caterina Kasiaras: Our experience was ok, disappointed at pool food service.Saturday we ordered 3 bowls of chips, 2 pizza and various drinks. Waited 1 hour and 25 minutes. Three calls to service. In arrival our chips were cold but asked for one bowl to be left behind as 4 little kids were hungry and returned the other 2.We still got charged for the one left behind. Wait time was disappointing.Rooms: Great rooms, spacious and cleanNearby activities: Lego land, Chadstone shopping, and much more.Walkability: Walk to shops in Chadstone or others around the area

Attie Botha: Room lights are overly complicated and the sensors turn the lights on in the room waking everyone up when going to the bathroom. Then you struggle to understand how to turn lights off. We also had a gift delivered to the room that never turned up. We ordered food from the pool area that never turned up, in the end ordered it from the room. I still have my deposit not refunded. Good potential but way too many misses.Nearby activities: Chadstone shopping centre.Walkability: Chadstone

Jane Margariti: Had the most amazing stay from the moment I walked in. Room was surprisingly bigger than expected and loved the bathroom with bath. Had the perfect night sleep and location was walkable to where we had a function. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Shattered to have not had more time for the spa/pool and buffet breakfast. Will definitely be back again!

Anthony Eccles: A 5 star stay everything about our stay was amazing our room , the staff were really helpful and friendly.the buffet breaky was nice the decor looked amazing..My wife and I will be back 💯 ..thankyou Park Hyatt for a lovely weekend recommend the French Brasserie food and staff and atmosphere was second to none ..thanks for a 5 star meal guys ..

Ben Hinton: then a short while later we were pressured to move because, according to staff, another customer wanted the table we were sitting at. Clearly the other customers

Farah Kamkar: 5 stars plus hotel. Rooms are spacious and luxurious.Old fashion style hotel service.Professional and courteous staff.Olivia at front desk made our check in so fast and we really appreciate it since we were extremely tired.Worth every penny.Love itRooms: Luxurious rooms.

Joanne Robinson: creates a peaceful retreat from the bustle of the City. I made use of the pillow menu on this visit and had a great night's sleep because of it. The buffet breakfast has a huge array of choices, and Barista made coffee. There is a tram stop right outside.

Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street: what do users think?

Bruce R.: A special hotel which made us feel special. All staff cheerfully obliged our needs, above and beyond our expectations, based on our experiences in Australia and overseas.A special experience from the moment we entered the front lobby.Thank you, all Hilton staff, for making our 56th. anniversay so memorable.Rooms: Clean, well equipped, very comfortable bed.Nearby activities: There is a tram-stop outside the front entrance.

Benjamin Lynn: Would like to see a freezer in my fridge, but at least room service delivers ice readily.Staff are amazing, rooms leave a little to be desired, they are smaller than expected, window view is of an old cement wall - almost be better without a windows. No washing machines available for use. But they do have a laundry service.

Ross D: Like any inner city Hotel parking can often be challenging however from the moment we drove up the valet’s experience in dealing with stressed customers came to the fore. A giant smile a welcoming greeting and the offer to take care of our vehicle saw our tensions disappear immediately. He quickly guided us towards reception whilst he attended to our luggage. Reception staff welcomed us with broad smiles and welcome greetings. These staff are extremely well trained however I felt a greater sense that they really were enjoying their jobs and their demeanour a mere reflection of that joy. By the time we arrived at our room our bags had been carefully placed in the bedroom. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We made our way back downstairs for a quick bite and the meal was superb. I can easily say that everything about this Hotel exceeded our high expectations. Its charm, decor, location but most of all its people are exemplary and a credit to the Hilton group. We will be staying again.Rooms: We chose a King Suite and it was magnificent. Modern decor, generous sizing with full amenitiesNearby activities: A wide range of bars and restaurants close by

Mike H (Hadsafeed): Very nice rooms, good service although disappointing there isn't better facilities like pool/spa/sauna.

Cyrus Jay Bantoy: Superb. This place is amazing. Staying at the Hilton was an absolute delight! From the impeccable service to the luxurious amenities, every moment felt like a VIP experience. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The hotel's attention to detail truly stood out, making me feel pampered and cared for throughout my stay. I can't wait to return and indulge in exceptional hospitality once again. Five stars, without a doubt!Walkability: Near the shops and restaurants. Tram station in front of the hotel 🏨

Daniel McPherson: Excellent decor, furnishings & architecture! The hotel is out of the really busy area which helps reduce noise, although the trams can be heard shaking the ground until 11pm in some rooms.Service was great and lot of the time but there were a few moments where going above and beyond wasn’t a priority which is fine of course, but not deserving of 5 stars. The beds are to die for, the TV is modern and easy to use with modern streaming apps & the bathroom was amazing. The one thing that shocked me was the barista coffee at the included buffet breakfast being an additional charge. Strange.Walkability: The hotel is within walking distance of key shopping areas like Collin’s Street & the restaurant / bar areas.

Jayendu Krishna: Hotel highlights Quiet

James Sikaris: Service: 3/5

VIJAY Perth: I enjoyed every bit of my stay here … from outside or from Google the photos from outside can be bit deceptive but once in you see sheer opulence.. the staff is very friendly too …Rooms: Wow factor.. that is what I can say .. nice workstation.. lots of spaceNearby activities: You are in the heart ❤️ of Melbourne.. so theatres , MCG, Rod Lavern .. you name it ..Safety: I had no reason whatsoever to complain about the safetyWalkability: One street down is Flinders Street .. so main Railway station, Federation Square and Yarra Rivers .. everything is just round the cornerFood & drinks: The Sous Chefs of the hotel 🏨 are too goodNoteworthy details: I have tried to capture the opulence of the hotel 🏨 room.. very spacious and very comfortable

Warburton Holiday House: , but my wife and I regularly find our way into the extensive lobby lounge area for cocktails or a glass of wine after an early evening out on the town. The Westin is just a tranquil oasis, with its spacious open-plan lounge area that runs the whole length of the expansive lobby, between the big entrance and the wide spiral stairs. The comfy upholstered sofas and armchairs are arranged around low coffee tables, either in intimate pairs, or up to 4, 5, or 6 seats, where you can just sink into the comfortable cushions and have a polite attentive person bring you an expresso martini

Michele Gherlenda: My husband and I had an amazing “wicked” themed high tea to celebrate our anniversary and we were very impressed. The team were attentive and even brought out a lovely anniversary treat for us. The food was made to perfection, would definitely go again for a high tea and would consider staying at this hotel in future

Brian Anderson: Went here for a JT Foxx event named Mega Speaker. The facilities were really nice and the hotel staff was really friendly and helpful in finding the room on the second floor.Walkability: Pretty close to the parliament station, parks and food locationsFood & drinks: Has Little Collins within the hotel and several nice eating locations as well.

Kim Kennedy: . The room was cosy and clean minas some bin liners I think the cleaners forgotten. I thought the room size could have been bigger but that’s only me trying to find the smallest critique in what was a very comfortable stay. I particularly was impressed by the mattresses as I am one whom likes the feeling of a soft mattress and they’re rare to come by in hotels these days -using hard commercial mattresses that feel like you’re sleeping on a table. I must say this hotel exceeded my expectations there. They wert the cloud I was hoping for but they wert that bad either. All in all it was the staff and service that really sold it for us, ensuring we had a great experience. No job or request was too hard. From the lovely gentleman that took our bags to the reception to dining in Collins kitchen/everywhere we went the staff were amazing. We felt special and that the staff were suited to their roles in hospitality-they all appeared they wanted to be there and that they’d enjoyed their job. It made all the difference for us unfortunately I didn’t catch the names of everyone but THANKYOU to all staff for a pleasant stay

Denis Fitzgerald: It's a quirky hotel with lots of great little areas to relax, like downstairs there is a lounge area with a great pool table. Also an erea for you to sit and do your work on your laptop if it needs to be done. The area has great eateries in walking distance and great shopping. Close to trams and trains. Great mini bar.The BadThe room we had was small and with the very comfortable and very large King bed, there was virtually no room to easily get to the bathroom. It left a gap of about 10cm at the end of the bed. The bedside control panel was falling apart and had blu tac added in an attempt to fix it.Walkability: You can easily walk to South Yarra train station, Prahran Market and loads of eateries and shops

Ellen D: Fun, retro hotel conveniently located in trendy, South Yarra, just around the corner from Chapel Street and great eateries and cafes. Only a five minute walk to the South Yarra train station and from there just another 5-10 minutes until you’re in the heart of the city on flinders street. Staff were welcoming and accomodating. I stayed in the small Go-Go room, and while it would be a tight squeeze for two, it was perfect for a solo trip! Overall, I felt very safe and comfortable. Would definitely recommend, particularly to other solo travellers. I hope to return in the near future.

Heart Elastic: It's the best hotel I've ever been to.There is a bar on the first floor that doesn't look like a hotel reception.Drinks are available from 5-8pm and there are plenty of tables. The hotel room is very clean and has a free Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a free room cleaning service.

Beth Tetley: Have stayed here twice now when down in Melbourne. Location is perfect, close to most things and pricing is great compared to other southbank hotels. The staff are lovely and always accommodating and the food and drinks at the bar downstairs are delicious. The rooms have everything you need and beds are comfortable. They offer 24hr parking at the nearest Wilson’s parking for just $25 which is a great price compared to what other hotels offer. The only draw back for me was the pillows on the bed - they were very thick and I struggled to sleep as I am a front sleeper. Didn’t ask if there were any thinner options at reception as it was quite late already but would be great to know if they offer thinner pillows for the next stay. Will definitely be coming back if that’s the case 😊

Brent Dennis: Can't really fault the place.Good location for what we wanted to do.Room was great and the block out blinds were amazing actually slept in.The breakfast was great as well. All round d great stay.

Kenneth ~ Portlandケン、ポトランド: We stayed here in February. It’s a great hotel only problem is they have a homeless woman living there she’s been there for over six months. She lingers in the laundry room and verbally attacks people.I notified the front desk staff. They just shook their head and said we know. The hotel needs to remove this woman from the property ASAP.

Vandana Murthy: Fantastic hotel. Free breakfast buffet is delicious. Elevators are fast. Daily bed turnover and towels which is a real treat. Beautiful lobby. Gym is also great. It is in an incredible location. A mere 10 mins walk from Federation square and the national gallery of Victoria, 15 mins walk to Royal botanic garden and Melbourne Cricket Ground, the nearby Riverside Quay is a fun and beautiful vibe. I highly recommend staying here!

Bryce Simpson: Hotel highlights Great view, Great value

Mangala Suresh: All nice, except that as you check in they credited themselves 50 $ saying it will be credited back to me after 10 days after we check out, it is since 12 days no news of credit. No other Holiday inn did this, except here.

Ian Murray: Still my favourite hotel in Melbourne. Close to all the restaurants I like but far enough out of the madness to fell like a little home away from home.

waffle Scooper: I stayed here in April for one night, felt very welcomed and the staff were great, I extremely recommend 👍

Mark Laudrum: Great to be able to play on a full size snooker table

Geoff Koochew: . We often stay Sofitel when in Melbourne but gave this a try. Great room service and staff. Idea location and Lindrum had a deal next door with Wilson for parking.Breakfast included which we ordered off a menu

Malcolm Gay: Stayed Fri & Sat and where else for the small boutique hotel experience and so close to all the great little restauants like Cumulus, Chin Chin etc
