4worldlovers: We are delighted to host a very special session with Swami Atmananda Puri from the Amritapuri Ashram in Kerela, South India. He will lead a Meditation, Talk on Yogic Philosophy and Q&A session, followed by a delicious Indian lunch!

This is a very rare opportunity to gain insight directly from a genuine deep spiritual thinker whose knowledge comes right from the source of Yoga Tradition in Mother India.


Swami is a Monk who has devoted his life to studying the Mystical Wisdom of the East. He is a disciple of the Indian Spiritual Teacher Amma – who is famous for hugging millions of people around the world and creating a massive charitable organisation.

Vishal, one of the long standing teachers at the studio has been a devotee of Amma for many years, often visiting the Ashram and is pleased to be able to introduce Swami to the studio.

If you have questions about Yogic Philosophy please bring them on the day.


You may like to do the Saturday Morning class and then attend the Session.

Swami’s session is free of charge and we ask that you book so that we can estimate numbers for catering.


As winter marches in, it's a time to get cosy and to cultivate a sense of consolidation. It's also unfortunately a time when many of us get sick. So please take all the normal precautions to stay as healthy as you can be.

Somewhat adjacent to this topic, Cathy is not feeling well, and won't be able to teach this morning and therefore the Full Primary will be cancelled. Please join us in wishing her a speedy recovery.

As for the rest of the day, We have the Kids class, Beginners and Ease into Mysore as normal. Plus, we have our (semi) monthly Philosophy Chats this afternoon after Ease into Mysore, for about an hour. It will be a more open ended discussion this time focusing more on your questions. Hope to see you there. And yes, as always for these Sunday afternoon chat's, there'll be some food.

Coming up this week we will be treated to Gregor Maehle teaching Mysore every morning from 6 am to 8:30am. We have been attending his workshop this week, and take it from us; he is as sharp as it gets. You will be getting prime Gregor. He is the technical, spiritual and highly generous Gregor that we know and love.

As for other morning Mysore's during the week, Mysore with Sun will be happening in the other room on Monday from 5:30am. Yes, you read that right. Sun will be taking Monday Mysore from now on. We recommend setting your routine up to make this part of your week as much as possible. Anyone who has practiced with her knows she has a really special touch.

Monday to Friday, Ilaria will also be taking Ease into Mysore from 8:15am until around 10am.

Aris is heading back home for a while, so Ilaria will be taking the Monday Full Primary's at 6pm for the foreseeable future.

And for those going to the retreat at the Prom, the weather and conditions are looking superb. I'm sure it will be highly restful and resorative. Can't wait to see all the photos.
