Open Wednesday to Sunday we offer a variety of live music. Wednesdays and Sundays are traditional Irish music nights, reminiscent of what you would find back in Ireland where anyone is welcome to join in. Thursday nights are home to MacCrimmin’s weekly residency from 7pm, a mixture of both Irish and Scottish jigs, reels, polkas and songs. A heritage listed building, having been established in 1861, Young and Jackson has been beautifully restored and refurbished over the years to bring together a blend of boutique bar and a traditional pub. Home to the infamous, Chloe, she is a Melbourne icon, mascot for the HMAS Melbourne, an extremely fine work of art; she is an ingénue, a nymph, a celebrity. She is Chloe, the famous nude portrait which has graced the walls of the Young and Jackson Hotel since 1909.

From our a la carte menu, you'll see an extensive shared plate selection, as well as a variety of larger plates to enjoy. If you’re in for lunch, we offer a set menu with a selection of mains to choose from. Kindly note, the pub menu is not available in Chloe’s.
