There is basic food, hot chips, icecreams, coffee etc and tables to sit at while the kids do their thing. There is a section for party groups, not sure of party prices. Their website has all the session times (which are different in term times versus school holidays) and prices.Good old fashioned family fun, worth giving it a try.”

They are all happy to help and there is always someone on the rink in case of mishaps. There is structure to the session and the games and activities are run with professionalism. Prizes for the kids only adds to their enjoyment. The food is cafe quality and easily better than the other rinks. So thank you Skaterz, for being a professional and welcoming environment. 4worldlovers: Riverslide Skate Park is a public skate facility located in Alexandra Gardens, just outside the Melbourne CBD.

We run various skate lessons where you can practise your skills in a supportive and fun learning environment.

So whether you want to perfect your tricks, learn the basics, join a skate club, take part in girls skateboarding lessons, or host a birthday party - we have something for everyone!

Our facilities include an onsite skateboard shop, which stocks a wide range of skateboards and skateboarding accessories. We also have a café where you can chill out and watch the action.

4worldlovers: With two ice rinks, you can skate 7 days a week, 364 days a year!


It’s always a cool 16°C at the IceHouse, but you will warm up after you’ve done some laps. We suggest you wear layers.


These are available free of charge (with skating admission) and are recommended for all beginners.


The extra protection will make you feel more confident – you’ll be gliding around the rink in no time!


We have sizes from XXS to XXL. If you have very small children please bring your own helmet, as XXS may still be too big.
