Every Sunday is Panton Hill Picnic Sunday. Our Kitchen is closed. We supply tables, water, a full wine tasting and use of our facilities. There is no charge for this. You bring food and everything you need to serve it, you take home your rubbish to your own rubbish bins. No BYO drinks. We have the drinks. There are sheltered, comfortable options inside and outside all year round, with a warm, open fire in winter. We provide what we do for you on a Sunday at some cost to ourselves, so we hope our wine sales will reflect your appreciation of this. The wine is good, so maybe have some for lunch and some to take home!

With an outstanding range of dishes inspired by our heritage and homeland of Campagna – such as Scialatielli Ai Frutti Di Mare followed by the sweet flavours of Bombolone – we invite you to be carried away as you dine in full view of our vineyard and vegetable garden where most of our seasonal specials have been harvest at the peak of their maturity.

Olivigna Restaurant's alfresco dining is a quintessential Italian pastime that naturally comes to life at Pietro Gallus' traditional cobblestone piazza. Here, our specially curated rustic-inspired menu ensures all tastes are catered for, while the mesmerising outdoor surrounds of this unique estate plays the perfect host.

If you come to visit at the right time of the year you might catch us in the middle of chestnut season, an old Italian tradition where we’ll be firing up our bespoke roaster on the piazza overlooking our stunning 20 acres. Come join us for a still-warm cone full of autumn goodness.

No outside food or drink permitted, we have plenty of that here for you.

A truly unique experience where you are escorted to a private picnic hut, perched amongst Warrandyte bushland and overlooking the entire estate.

Four picnic huts are available for hire on Saturday and Sunday, with a minimum 6 and maximum of 8 guests required. Bookings are for a 2 hour duration and minimum spends apply.
