Back then, we were in Beach Street, Port Melbourne and when we started, It was to make wooden boxes and crates for the canning, soft drink and other industries.

In time, cardboard came to replace wood in the food packaging business, and Fox Hay had to diversify. So we started to wholesale timber supplies, in particular ply veneer board and hardwood for the furniture manufacturing trade. As we have always believed in the value of delivering high quality service through product knowledge, we were always alert to the needs of our customers, and before long we began expanding the range of building materials and products we stocked.
