A heritage listed building, having been established in 1861, Young and Jackson has been beautifully restored and refurbished over the years to bring together a blend of boutique bar and a traditional pub. Home to the infamous, Chloe, she is a Melbourne icon, mascot for the HMAS Melbourne, an extremely fine work of art; she is an ingénue, a nymph, a celebrity. She is Chloe, the famous nude portrait which has graced the walls of the Young and Jackson Hotel since 1909.

Chloe’s Brasserie is located on the first floor and offers casual dining with a unique perspective of the busy Melbourne streets below. Named “Chloe’s” after the infamous painting hung in the dining room, here we focus on Modern Australian cuisine with an emphasis placed on fresh local produce.

From our a la carte menu, you'll see an extensive shared plate selection, as well as a variety of larger plates to enjoy. If you’re in for lunch, we offer a set menu with a selection of mains to choose from. Kindly note, the pub menu is not available in Chloe’s.

Bookings are available online or by phone for lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Outside of our Chloe's Brasserie, you can settle down into one of our comfortable lounges or our bar, known to the thousands who pass by each day.
