I enjoy the online classes as they allow me to stay fit and healthy even while I'm am stuck indoors. One of the great things about these online classes is that when you turn your camera on the instructor can look at your punches blocks and kicks and give you advice on how you can improve.

Junior Adults 11 - 15 yrs old Our Junior Adults programme is very focused on Self Defence based Martial Arts. As you may be aware both assaults and knife attacks in Melbourne have dramatically increased.

Samurai Warriors 8 - 11yrs old Learn a wide range of skills including ground fighting / wrestling. Our Samurai Warriors classes are both energetic and challenging. Confidence for children can be developed by training in Martial Arts.

Ninja Stars 5 - 8 yrs old Our Ninja Stars 5 - 8 years old classes are full of energy and enthusiasm. Our student's parents regularly tell us that our classes have had a tremendous effect on their child’s overall development as well.

I began studying Jujitsu in early 1990 and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every moment. During that time I have been fortunate enough to travel to Japan, United Kingdom, Sth Africa, New Zealand and all over Australia to learn, train and occasionally teach the odd seminar or two.

​After the school I was training in closed down I started the Melbourne based Martial arts school in Preston around 1998. Over time it has grown to become the biggest Dojo for this type of Martial Arts training in the southern hemisphere with quite literally thousands of students studying at our school over the years. Many have reached Black Belt and of those many have stayed on continuing their studies for longer than 10 and even more than 20 years.

I have to thank my amazing staff and students for all their support over the years.

We started with my daughters doing jujitsu two years ago and now I go to the kickboxing classes too. All the instructors are supportive, and make the classes fun, whilst still pushing you to be your best and give it your all.

Am I too old or too young to learn Martial Arts?

Generally it is the best for children to be aged 3 before they start taking classes, or 10 years old for kickboxing. We cater for older adults from 60 + in our adult classes so they can still train without the injuries.
